Boring. This instantly became background music to me. I’m hoping that this isn’t the first single from Ciara’s 3 disc set, Fantasy Ride. If it is, she can keep it. Something about this song does not do it for me. I would prefer “High Price” over this – at least it was trying something a little different. I’m hoping that this new album has something similar to what she gave on “Promise,” which is by far, one of the Ciara’s best songs to me. I hope that she really does bring it this time around.

I feel uncomfortable listening to Plies, to be completely honest. I feel like I’m doing something I’m not supposed to – and it’s definitely not one of those guilty pleasures. However, I would like to know if Jamie Foxx is working on another album? Unpredictable was highly anticipated and very well received by fans, so I think it’d be interesting for him to come out with a new project. Usually when artist start popping up on features, they’re trying to get people used to the idea of them making a return.

Check out Nappy Roots’ first single from their upcoming album, The Humdinger. I’m digging the new song. I have liked Nappy Roots in the past, so I was surprised when I found out that they have a new single out. Hopefully, the guys will release the album this summer like they plan to. I haven’t heard anything about the new album since I’ve received the e-mail, so I’m hoping they still have the green light on the project.

I love the song “Surveillance,” I wish that Atlantic would just hurry up and release it before the people that do know about Wynter become uninterested. It’s something about that song that just makes me want to get up and move, and I love the chorus. I think that Wynter is a talented writer and vocalist, but I’m eager to see what she can do live. Maybe that could be the problem with why they’re putting a hold on her project.
Ciara’s song is hot.

@7 It seems alot of us have forgotten what the definition of being a”hater” is. Every time some has something to say it’s considered “hating” and in this case I think that’s farthest from the truth. Objective Criticism is not “hating”. Giving a review whether positive or negative is not “hating.” I for one like Supernatural, yet I feel what Brian is saying…Promise was/is the joint and it really solidified Ciara with staying power and versatility in her music.

That Plies song is actually Lil’ Ronnie’s (the producer/singer on “Addicted”: I’m A Fiend” he’s in Atlanta on Lil’ Bow Wow’s label. He’s also the one who did R. Kelly’s “Flirt” and Kells and Usher’s “Same Girl”
His version is on his myspace and sounds a lot better than the one with Plies and Jamie.
