♫ Michelle Williams – Hello Heartbreak (full) – REMOVED
The full version of Michelle Williams’s “Hello Heartbreak” has leaked. I think I dug the snippet a little more, but this doesn’t distract my interest from Michelle’s new project, Unexpected. This is the first song from the album that I’ve heard that really just hasn’t kept my attention. And even still, I think it may have something to do with the quality of the song. Is it just me, or does the vocal seem really low?
♫ Joe – E.R. (Emergency Room) (full) – listen
Although extremely underrated, I really liked a lot of the songs on Joe’s last album, Ain’t Nothin’ Like Me, and to be completely honest, I’m really digging this new song too. “E.R.” feels similar to a lot of the material on the last album, so I’m wondering if this means that Joe is coming out with a new album or if this is just unreleased material from the sessions of the last album.
♫ Ashanti – Good Good (full) – listen
This is Ashanti’s second single from her latest album, The Declaration. It was originally supposed to be the Akon and Nelly-featured “Body On Me,” but I think Ashanti realized that the song wasn’t all that great, and she decided to trade high instead of not trading at all, especially with it being really hard for some artists to find relevance these days. “Good Good” is produced by Jermaine Dupri.
♫ Jazmine Sullivan – Need U Bad (Remix) (full) – listen
Check out this new remix of Jazmine Sullivan’s first single, “Need U Bad,” which has been getting a lot of spins here in Atlanta. I’m really glad that Jazmine’s album is finally going to come out, because I’ve been checking on this young songstress for sometime. Although I don’t like how the vocals were a little sped up on the song, I think her fans will like this remix. I prefer the original, though.

GOOD GOOD IS…..LIKE ITS NAME GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD SHIT. AS THIS GONE BE THE NEXT SINGLE OFF THE DECLARATION, MAYBE IT WILL HELP BOOST SALES OF THE DECLARATION. WHO@D HAV THUNK SHANI FELL DIS DAMN HARD BACK IN 02/03?
Loving all of them.. Jaz never heard of her, but I like it. Couldn’t here Michelle’s wzup with that?
Testing this comment
I really think Ashanti did a good job this time around. What I don’t understand is how people bought her albums when she was just repeating “baby” in every song, but now that she is actually showing variety and NOT being repetitive, she has low album sales? I LOVE “In these streets” and “The things you make me do.” People need to get over her past or whatever dislike they have of her and listen to the music…it’s good.
THEM PUNK BASTARDS AT COLUMBIA/MUSICWORLD BETTER DO THE RIGHT THING BY MICHELLE…HER FANS ALREADY WENT FOOL ABOUT THE BET SITUATION
I didnt get the chance to hear Michelle’s track.
I pretty much like anything Joe does because if you were a fan of 90′s music then you would know that he still maintains the exact same voice which is very good.
I’ll pass on Ashanti. I tried to listen, but you wouldn’t catch me walking around singing I got that good good. Sounds dumb to me and not my type of stuff.
Jazmin Sullivan’s voice is something serious and it’s what we need at this point in music. CL keep posting her stuff because I’m loving it and when her album drops I will definitely be a huge supporter.
Does anybody remember when you had to be able to sing to be in the records biz?
Stop sleeping on Joe!
THATS NOT THE REAL HELLO HEARTBREAK!!!! YOU WILL LOVE THE REAL ONE
CHEVY…it isn’t Jazmine speaking that part. It’s Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa.
@ THE REALIST
SORRY UR WRONG THAT NOT JAZMINE THAT “PEPA” FROM SALT N PEPA SHE ON THE CREDITS OF THE SONG. AND I KNOW JAZMINE PERSONALLY
Jazmin music is a sample beat that Mary J Blige and Laurin Hill did. I don’t know how you call that original. She’s biting off of other artists.
I like the original version better for Need Up Bad. That girl has a voice on her. I’ve been following her YouTube. She can really sing.
As much I hate Ashanti and her non singing ass, I must admit, this track is decent, her voice actually sounds alright, she need to sing like that more instead of her hollering and trying to hit high notes like she did in “The Way That I love You”, her singing is horrible in that song.
I love Jazmine Sullivan can’t wait till her cd come out
Ashanti vocals were amazing in the way that I love you..thais what beyonce does is holler..
I HATE concept songs like Joe’s “ER” and Raheem DeVaughn’s “Text Messages”…. that shit is so lame and uncreative and WHACK!!!!!!!!
Jazmine’s remix is fire!
I’m glad that Ashanti’s label decided to take my advice and ice that Nelly/ Akon foolishness and release “Good Good”…. thus giving her album LEGS!
that Jazmine track made my ears bleed. should’ve re-recorded the vocals to match the energy of the remix. cotton balls, please.
i like jazmine and ashanti song…i love her new album
michelle is ok also
Not an Ashanti fan, but “Good Good” surprised me.
It’s ridiculously catchy.
Good Good is hawt!..Definetly a summer song that SHOULD blaze the charts!!
Im sorry but I think Ashanti’s track is childish. I picture fast ass highschool girls singing it.The only difference in this song is she’s not popping a damn vein in her forehead screamin the damn lyrics like the first song released. And the few who do like it is only because they think their sh*t is good good….paleeze! Half of yall probably don’t even wash your asses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for Jazmine Sullivan. love her voice. That’s what you call the business. The original version is my sh*t.
Haha I like Ashanti’s song, its cute with some attitude!
Love love Jazmine’s voice! But Brian, I was up in the ATL for a week and listened to the radio ALL DAY and all I kept hearing was the same 5 damn songs all day!! There were good songs, but I never seem to hear the new ish you always say you hear on the radio…
Usually I like joe’s work but this song is just aight 4 me…”Good Good” is one of my favorite songs on her album…her voice doesn’t annoy me as much on other songs I’m glad they decided 2 make this one the next single…Jazmine Sullivan leaves me speechless
@ TheRealist
Ok, and I defintiely made it clear that I “didnt” know what she was speaking! Yea, and who exactly would i be going to get the information from for this “research” for one freaking part of a song! Maybe I could A.) just use my voice analyser that would magically tell me what she was speaking was “patois” or I could B.) just ask a FUCKING question, like I just did!
Jazmine is simply sick as far as vocals go. We don’t have enough of that right now! I’ve always been a fan of Joe; he has never gotten the credit he was due. Ashanti is Ashanti and you either like her not. I choose “not” to. We need to save the air time for real artist..enough is enough. CD’s are much too expensive to waste money on mediocre talent. Not hating just my opinion. Good-Good..?????? I mean com’ on talk about your bubble gum lyrics!!!!!
FYI: Joe is coming out with a new project. Supposedly it is going to be on Kedar Massenberg’s new label. He was on KJLH on last Thursday and they played about 6 new songs. Some of it was good…some was alright.
Ashanti song sounds to much like something Beyonce would sing, maybe not those words but same beat, sorry not buying it.
Jazmine sounds just like Lauryn Hill. I know we missing the real Lauryn right now but I hope she ain’t just biting her style to fill a void. Be yourself [girl] , every one else is taken – Oscar Wilde
Is that really Pepa(from Salt-n-Pepa) talkin that patois cuz if so it sounds like she’s was born there…I know her parents are but that’s very good.My parents are from Jamaica and I can’t even speak that good of patois.PEPA keep doin ya thang gurl!!!!
Pepa was actually born in Jamaica, she came here when she was a child.
