I dont think there is anything wrong with her trying to educate the youth on the dangers of HIV and Aids. If anything I think it makes her a better artist and role model because she actually cares. To anyone who think this is a step down or beneath someone is just plain ignorant.

#2 though I think the bit about “coming down” to PSA’s is crazy, I really do believe she’s going to be on Dancing With The Stars. Matthew got Mario on it and Kelly is friends with Mel B (Scary Spice) who still has ties to the show…I definitely think she’ll do it… it might be in the UK, though. Hey, Kelly just suffers from being eclipsed by the megastar in a group…it happens all the time. She could handle her solo ventures much better but she made wads of money off Beyonce’s appeal…she didn’t really lose IMO.

I love me some Ms. Kelly. I’m proud of her for stepping up to the plate in trying to be an aid to the youth of the generation. She’s reaching out which is more than I can say for many other artists.

Once again, great job Kelly. You are really doing what most artist should be, educating their audiences! People still find something negative to say on a serious matter. Some people need to grow up. I think more stars should try and educate the youth about hiv/aids. I mean some of them can reach millions of fans and really make them so how out of control this thing has gotten I think its great Kelly is using her status as a celeb to do something besides getting things for self like most of these stars do

and at #2 some of those stars get a lot of money from that show!!

I’m glad that Kelly is doing this. This is definitly a good cause. I think she had to think of something because she cant sell no records. I think musically, she needs to do what amerie did, leave Columbia Records. Then she needs to get with the good producers and make some good material.

I’m proud of any artist that will give their time, energy, money, etc for a good cause and HIV/AIDS is a very important epidemic that is affecting our Black community more than any other race and it’s between the ages of 17-34 then WOMEN! C’mon people! Wake up.

My brother died from AIDS in 1996 due to his then wife knew she had the disease when they met in 1990 and she NEVER told him. What kind of person is that? So, with that said, I can appreciate Kelly and anyone else who will take a stand for this cause!

#3 well said, some people on here are so ignorant it’s unbelievable. It’s a message that needs to be repeated over and over, especially in the black community. Hearing it come from Kelly puts a nice twist on it, this shows she has dignity and class by standing for something that can help save a life. Keep doing positive things Kelly!
