Yes he is truely a musician. He alway carry his guitar everywhere he goes. I am very surprise he don’t have it on the red carpet with him. Cause he’s known for always having his instrument.

I lke his raspy and grity sound…its one of a kind…everybody has a different soud and his definitely stands out…you dont have to od like luther or usher to sound good people.

Oh Jesus take the wheel because my computer is about to crash….I swear my computer started acting crazy as soon as this fool started to sing!!! The melody is great and I get where his is trying to go musically, but uh uh Boo Boo stick to acting, it suits you better.

I love him as an actor and I hear he has a real adult contemporary feel (read: grown and sexy) . I hope it sounds good

His voice is actually pretty decent; recalls the 70s and simplicity, but the instrumentation overshadows EVERYTHING in all it’s pure GOODNESS.

Terrance Howard is a coon, don’t support him people. When he was on David Letterman talking grimy about the Katrina survivors that was it for me. The man is nothing but a sellout.

Love the instrumentals. The voice however; not sure. I tried to see if it would grow on me as he sang and it just seemed to get worse. Maybe you should have some instrumentals and then guest vocalist with different styles, e.g. Anthony Hamilton, Robin Thicke, Raheem Devaughn, Jennifer Hudson or Jill Scott, Justin T., Nancy Wilson (check out her vocals on Next Exit with Grover Washington) etc.

His music is very calm and relaxing. His guitar skills are great. However, His voice needs work. It’s not as strong as I’d thought it would be. But I’d still listen to his album regardless.

Ok. Obviously someone at Columbia Records thought this CD was good enough to warrant a record deal. I would like to meet that person and ask them a series of questions.

However, just from listening to the samples…the music isn’t bad, but it’s not good. And I’m just going by the samples maybe the rest of the CD is better.

And Terrence definitely needs to undergo some voice training before he releases a second CD. I don’t think it’s a good thing if the weakness of your voice distracts the person listening to the music and keeps them from fully enjoying your work. Maybe it was nervousness. He almost sounds like he doesn’t have confidence in his voice.

But maybe this was the effect he was going for with his vocals. There are lots of musicians that people hate their voices but they have successful music careers: Mary J, John Legend, Alanis Morrisette, Tracy Chapman, etc.

It kinda reminds me of a bad Hootie from Hootie and the blowfish. I don’t know what to say, maybe the alternative scene will eat this up it was all a bit bland and his runs and tone remained the same throughout, snippet’s are suppose to show you the best f what to expect.

Wow I’m really impressed! He has a real folk/soft rock kinda voice and music, at least from these two songs.

I respect that he actually loves music and wants to express himself in his own way, instead of being produced by Timbaland, T-Pain, The Dream, Polow Da Don, Brian Michael Cox, and etc.

He is really talented and his voice suit this kind of music. He reminds me of Seal and Tracy Chapman or Trenec Trent d’Arby. Something that is not mainstream and… what a guitarist.

His style of singing is similar to the breezy singing style that Seal has.

Well, I must say the man is talented. I truley love is voice. Its different I get tired of hearing the same ole’ same Joe and whining. This man is telling a story forming words to tell a story behind melodies. I will be getting this CD for sure.

people need to stay in their own lane. this is why all the arts are suffereing . b/c once you are inthe industry, you get an easy pass to cross and try something else. and the quality, weather its actors going to music, musicians going to actor, football players trying to paint etc.
