#74 I’m coming in on the tail end of this but that is NOT TRUE. Ashley wore the Balenciaga boots that Tracee Ellis wore in brown…Ashley was the first person to wear them…and she wore them in black. Now, maybe somebody is talking about the gladiators Ashley wore last year…that is not the same shoe…maybe it was a Balenciaga gladiator but it wasn’t this particular shoe. Let’s say you have the seven grand to spend on those boots, it’s not like you are going to get them just like that. Designers are known to give popular celebrities first digs on a future collection. You will see the celeb wearing the boots or bag, but the bag or boots aren’t in the stores. And, when they hit the stores ( which, i doubt it because you won’t find 7,000 boots sitting on the shelf) everybody else (socialites and B-list celebs ) going to be wanting those same boots, so you would probably be on a waiting list. By the time you actually get the boots, that designer would have moved on to something else. So, your boots, that you spent seven grand on would be out of style by then. With all of that said, i actually like Rihanna’s fashion sense. She’s able to pull off most of the stuff she wears because she’s tall and thin( not supermodel thin). I just think certain clothes hang better on tall and thin figures.

I’m a student @ the Fashion Institute of Technology and a lot of the times we’re fortunate to get lectured by many “Stylists to the Stars.” So I put it out there. DONT BE FOOLED. Rihanna is rocking $7000 boots, but there’s a huge possibility she didn’t pay for them and she wont keep them either.
