For this edition of Rock’d It Better, we have actress Golden Brooks and former video model Melyssa Ford wearing the same Black Halo dress.
Golden wore the dress back in February at the NAACP Awards Nominee Luncheon, while Melyssa rocked it last night at a Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network event. Which lady rocks it better?

What this really should have been titled is WHO LOOKS LESS H.A.M Golden or Melissa…I just don’t understand in all the years shes been on GF why she still looks off all the time. I mean the weave is just ridiculous. I don’t have half the money Brooks has yet my weave last year looked 10 better.

First..to the person who mentioned how they are posing the same. I too think that is the standard “lady in dress, skirt pose”. Look at most young women celebs (minus Lil Mama…that right foot of her’s has a mind of its own), they all seem to cross their feet when taking pics..
Second…I feel bad for Golden. ..Although she was on Girlfriends which had some cute trends (hair, clothes,etc.), she picked up not 1 GOOD tip! Where is that homegirl that should say “Golden..girl that is not your color”. She is suppose to be immaculate when she steps out. Now that I’m thinking…that goes for Tracey too…she be looking like fried garbage on occasions… Anywho, hair always looks disheveled and her makeup always looks erroneous.
Come on Golden…we..the fans..have mentioned this all but 3,498,402,109,349 times that your makeup is all wrong and you hair stylist should be fired (and if you are your own stylist…FIRE yourself!!) Get it together…we still love you!!!

well, it’s not really believable on Melyssa, though it definitely fits her much better…she looks like a wild girl trying to go classy in this dress…and I don’t think she can go without makeup…her skin is flawless but the contrast between her skin tone and the dark lips makes her look sort of masculine. Nice, smart girl but she should be wearing makeup…Golden’s shade, maybe? And I think some of you should have gotten by now that Golden doesn’t look the way you like because she doesnt want to be liked by you. The ratty weave is meant to look like some messy white girl case of bedhead, the light light foundation…well that sort of explains itself…
Golden should neva, eva, eva be in a who rocked it better post unless she is going up against casper the friendly ghost. And even then, she still wouldn’t win!
