Years ago, during Timbaland’s short-lived reign with his first label, Beat Club Records, he signed a girl by the name of Kiley Dean, who actually was a former back-up singer for Britney Spears. Although she failed to release her first album, Simple Girl, which was in large part produced by Timbaland, she continued to pursue music and record songs. “Escape” was recorded years ago, but recently a version of the song Brandy recorded has leaked. The leaking of all this old Brandy stuff, I think, has a lot to do with the fact that she’s working on a follow-up to 2004′s underrated Afrodisiac.

I’m a huge Brandy fan but must say that Kiley got this one. I can’t wait for Brandy to release her album.
Some of you need to get your facts straight. Kiley Dean recorded this version first and Brandy DID NOT write this song. And Brandy is nowhere on Kiley’s version, not in the background, adlibs, nothing. And overall, Kiley’s version is much better than Brandy’s take with her computerized vocals. It seems that some of you just came in this thread biased because you’re already a Brandy fan.

Kiley’s song sounds like Brandy so it’s clear that Brandy would sound better singing it, just like most of Kelly Rowland’s CD….LOL
BRANDY’S voice can not be messed with, that’s why Brandy will always be known and HOT any no one will ever know or care about Kiley Dean…LOL

Timbaland basically gave Brandy Kiley’s sound when he started working with her, but she tends to do the songs better than Brandy. Bran is still amazing, but she ain’t what she used to be.

Kiley Dean does a bautiful job on this song, but when I listened to it, it just sounded like Brandy song. This sounds like an unreleased song from Afrodisiac. Both Ladies sounded wonderful!

all i can say is that “No can do” is just Out this world!!,4real,….
