Just before the 4th of July weekend, I attended D. Woods from Danity Kane’s birthday party at Luckie Lounge in downtown Atlanta with some friends. The party was great. It started off with some performances by Danity Kane, D. Woods, her sister Shanell (who has been featured here before), as well as Aubrey O’Day, R. City, and new Universal Motown signee, Mika Means.
Other guests included Bryan-Michael Cox, Lloyd, Mychael Knight and many more.

The event was a lot of fun and there was just a spirit of liveliness throughout the night. The girls of DK were very sweet and I could tell that they really just enjoyed themselves and were happy to be able to just kick back in D.’s hometown and have a good time.

Brian’s plaid is on trend, but he seems like the kind of guy who’d wear them just because a flamboyant man in plaid is really ironic and fly. BUT, I’ve got to say it: He seems to really, really enjoy all the perks of being the music contributor on this blog without much of the responsibility of actually writing good reviews. I think he should focus a bit more on his technique than his “people skills.”
And I think D Woods was right to lose weight…with their audience, she cannot walk around looking like a video girl/horse hybrid.

I don’t know about this post. I saw anther story on this event as well as a video, there seemed t be tension within the group. It was like 2 groups, D and Aubrey, then Shannon, Drea and Dawn. Dawn def didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. I wouldn’t blame her. That Aubrey is a mess, and D. Woods is her sidekick.

Dawn is probably about 25. Cause I remember reading somewhere that she, Aubrey, Aundrea, & D Woods were like the same age. Aundrea and D Woods just had they’re 25th birthdays, so I’m guessing Dawn is around there. I find it weird that Shannon’s 28, but she doesn’t look like it.
