Just before the 4th of July weekend, I attended D. Woods from Danity Kane’s birthday party at Luckie Lounge in downtown Atlanta with some friends. The party was great. It started off with some performances by Danity Kane, D. Woods, her sister Shanell (who has been featured here before), as well as Aubrey O’Day, R. City, and new Universal Motown signee, Mika Means.
Other guests included Bryan-Michael Cox, Lloyd, Mychael Knight and many more.

The event was a lot of fun and there was just a spirit of liveliness throughout the night. The girls of DK were very sweet and I could tell that they really just enjoyed themselves and were happy to be able to just kick back in D.’s hometown and have a good time.

#117 I understand you’re being positive, but come on…this group was born in pop culture filth (i.e. the mtv reality tv genre) and so it’s pretty standard stuff, their being trashed. In fact, it’s the lifeblood of their popularity. If not for Aubrey’s antics, these girls would not get the type of mainstream coverage they do (and really it’s all about “Aubrey, member of Danity Kane”).
Also about the Estelle topic…I commented and never looked back…didn’t even know it was deleted. I don’t think Angel should close and delete topics…I understand she’s classy and tactful but she’s sort of risen to fame on the backs of people who are not. But I know she’s got more of an online mag idea for her blog… Honestly, online mags don’t appeal to me…so I sorta wish she’d stop all the heavy censoring.
Brothers that I know that have been to Atlanta have told me about what is going on down there but it is obvious that the Lord needs to bring some type of Katrina-like calamity to that place to clean the filth out.

I think D. Woods is very unattractive. On the second season of making the band, when she was competing, I thought she was cute, but now she looks like any ordinary black chick. I always said that Aubrey looks like a crackwhore! She is so dirty and sluty. I can’t stand her! Andrea and Shannon look cute though.

No storm is going to be caused by my comment. It’s just the truth. It’s to the point now that you cannot even bring children into this world because the homosexual is respected more and held in higher esteem by many of these black women than an actual man, particularly the black man.
