Two creative Black women doing their own thing is always a good look. Why would you bother hating on them?

I’m just now discovering santogold. I love her style. I think a lot of people don’t truly understand her music or her style. As for Angel, she doing her thing. You people need to get out more for real and find other music besides just r and b and rap. There are so many black artist that are getting mad props from the white community, but get virtually ignored by black folks because they dont fit and arent Beyonce or Lil Wayne.

Why this emphasis on high fashion when the hundreds of dollars you spend on Prada, Ralph Lauren, and D&G all go to rich white designers who cant even put a sistah or brotha in their runway shows? Get a clue people. Most celebrities pay huge amounts to “look good” and spend tons of money on clothing when they should be trying to inprove their “talent”.

I dont get santogold’s style at all.. She has that kid n play look from the late 80’s early 90’s looks. YUCK!

Next she’ll bring the MC hammer pants back, and the tie died clothing..BOO

Kid Cudi is okay….his whole style is like Wale, who if you’re from the DC/MD/VA area, you already know who he is. And he’s on Interscope now.

Wale is the cat you should do an Artist Spotlight on. He’s more stylistic (visually) and lyrical than this cat.
