EVENTS: 9th Annual Art For Life Benefit Gala

Aretha Franklin and Russell Simmons pose together at the 9th Annual Art For Life Benefit Gala that took place over the weekend. The annual benefit event celebrates the creative talents of disadvantaged New York City youth with a silent auction and honoree presentation.
Other guests included Diddy, L.A Reid, Tamia, and Al Roker. Russell arrived with girlfriend Porschla Coleman after a string of rumors released last week that the two broke up.
