Monica hosted a release/kick off party for her new upcoming reality series “The Single” Wednesday night in Atlanta. The series will premiere on ATL’s Peachtree TV on August 5th. Make sure to keep reading to view the promo video for the show. I wish I had the channel, because it looks interesting.
In Related News, Monica is writing and putting songs together for her fifth studio album, Lessons Learned. Her first single is entitled, “Still Standing.”

Moving on, I am more interested to see what becomes of Monica’s next album. In that brief teaser video to the show, I noticed that Monica was very worried about her new project being gimmicky. I can see why because, Everytime The Beat Drops is a shining example of how her last project didn’t represent her. Hopefully this time, she and her team will try to showcase her voice and not keep trying to prove she’s from the dirty south. We already know where she’s from and that she likes “Bad Boys”.
