Monica hosted a release/kick off party for her new upcoming reality series “The Single” Wednesday night in Atlanta. The series will premiere on ATL’s Peachtree TV on August 5th. Make sure to keep reading to view the promo video for the show. I wish I had the channel, because it looks interesting.
In Related News, Monica is writing and putting songs together for her fifth studio album, Lessons Learned. Her first single is entitled, “Still Standing.”

Love Monica…not too sure that she needs a show. This could have been an hour long feature on BET. And what sense does it make to air it on Peachtree TV – all of her fans do not reside in ATL.
Like others, I was surprised by her man choice. But love is where you find it. Hopefully they will stop playing house and tie the knot — they have two kids for goodness sake! I know, I know, its none of my business what they choose to do; however, when you in the public eye you have a certain responsibility (at least I think so). The last message our young women need to receive is that its alright to spit out multiple babies prior to marriage. Go to the justice of the peace already and drag your feet on a lavish ceremony if that’s what you want; but make it official.
And why on earth is this hyped up to be her ‘one last chance to be #1′? C’mon now, I do not see this as a make it or break it album….just release the album already.
Man is ole boy Rocko retarded or just slow looking? He isnt the bizness at all. Im sure Monica could have done betta than that ole dude. Maybe he is rich or something. Maybe he is good in bed. If that guy is those childrens father then that is good that they took after Monica becasue he is death walking. He is a little ugly smurf looking dude who cant even rap. I saw him on the tv rapping and he wasnt even opening up his mouth just had his mouth hidden behind the mik getting the mik all funky Im sure. He needs to stick to behind the scenes cause he isnt photogentic at all.

Monica has been with Rocko for awhile (Lil Rock & Baby Romello’s daddy)so of course she’s gonna be with him and they are happy thats all that matters believe it or not its not about just bein a bad boy its about being a rich bad boy keep in mind he’s produced alot of that southern hip hop over the past 4yrs. Monica was number one alot in the 90′s people might not buy the albums but they sure download them. Family comes first with Monica but people act as if she’s suppose to lose her passion just because she’s not selling millions she’s been there done that still livin of that money from 93 beleieve it or not, she has investments out the ass Marilyn made sure of it. Alot of people dont realize also in her hay day she was the only young chick doing runs with whitney houston while whitney was still on top so the voice speaks for itself. Do your research before you say someone sucks when we all know the truth that her and Inga use to be really good friends which will come out doing the star cry remix that is if it sees the light of day. If the album flops it will be because of sales not because of quality alot of people have never listened to after the storm or the makings of me some of those songs were killers. her ballads on her firt 2 albums even the chicks that were on her level couldnt sing like that and thats why they got fame elsewhere she stated in 99 she’s never wanted to be a pop icon. Monica has never had a lesson (has a heart problem by the way) if she did she would kill one of todays best. Fame doesnt always equal success some people are happy being loved and doing what they love to do and everyone in atll has a show on peachtree at some point or another and im out.
