Angela Simmons recently released a new promo song entitled “Center of Attention” to promote her shoe line Pastry and their newest sneaker releases. Angela runs the successful venture with her older sister Vanessa Simmons.

I love Angela Simmons and respect her magazine and pastries for children’s wear. This song however is a mess and you can clearly see that she was able to record this because of her dad’s status and who he knows. She should stick to the rise of her shoes and accessories rather than this. It’s sad that people with the real talent get looked over for people who know the right person to get in the biz.

hmmmm it’s a PROMO SONG for the sneakers so I expect it would be fun and commercial crossover for television… it’s goofy and I’m sure it will fit the whole Pastry theme when the comm’l is done. I’m proud of them for making their own way.
So what they had help are they not supposed to use their family name? I doubt anyone would turn down an advantage or opportunity to succeed esp if you already had one foot in the door from birth…. looks like they will get all the money from marketing and product makes good business sense to me. They are being taught how to be an enterprise not just a business! Everyone is not born into a struggle and I respect that they aren’t just shopping and partying because they were born into a wealthy environment. They are displaying quite nicely a winner’s attitude by using their resources!
