Meet Jazzy. This up and coming singer from Cali has been grinding for awhile in the music industry. In early 2006 the Singer/Songwriter caught the ears of music sensation Chris Brown, which asked her and her writing partner Bobbie Cheri, collectively called “The Write Chix” (www.myspace.com/thewritechix) to meet him after his performance in Los Angeles. Shortly after that meeting, Jazzy signed a publishing deal with Jamie Foxx’s newly formed music company Foxx King Entertainment as a songwriter. Peep the song above and give your two cents.

this track is pretty cool but she is about 3 years late with it though. She should have came out around the time Ciara and Teedra Moses first came out. She probably would have been popular by now. Her style of music is a tab bit late but i still like it though…

The song doesn’t sound finished though. It sounds more like a Demo to me. Like, it’s not radio ready. But when it is, I’m sure it will be hot. She might need to double up on her vocals though because the beat is taking over her voice.

I think that everybody sounds like somebody else but always have something distinctive about them. I think this concept ( for those music lovers who really listen to lyrics) is dope. The track gives me a laid back, sexy vibe and the voice compliments the track. KEEP IT UP JAZZY

Chris should definitely use this young lady to add some ‘soul’ to his upcoming album. He’s so into ‘pop’ music these days that he’s leaving his RnB following behind. And the funny part about it is that he went number 1 with Run It, which was definitely RnB. And his idol Michael Jackson never strayed away from RnB, but became king of pop….
This song is better than any of the leaked tracks I’ve heard for Chris’s upcoming 3rd DVD.
Note to Edesen – You know 19 year olds are not the only ones listenting to music these days. I am over 40 and I thoroughly enjoyed this song. It appeals to me as an RnB fan, much more than the majority of the rap and pop stuff out today. And I hate the shallowness of this generation – that a singer has to look good to sing. That’s exactly why there is such mediocre singers out today. And when your generation looks back to the ‘good old day’s will you have any transgenerational hits, such as Frankie Beverly and Maze, the Temptations, Anita Baker…and the list goes on from my day. Will you still be prould to hear ‘I’m in Love with a Stripper, Get Lo, Lollipop and so on, when your kids are listening to your ‘best’ music????
