Lloyd is currently working on his new project, Lessons In Love, which will be Lloyd’s third effort. I have actually been a fan of both of Lloyd’s previous projects, Southside and Street Love. Although sometimes highly underrated, Lloyd is consistent and puts out a quality album with solid records and singles that garner him good attention.
While he’s currently on his second single, “Girls Around the World,” featuring Lil’ Wayne, and gearing up to release a third single, “Year of the Lover,” with an album slating for August 5th release, Lloyd gives up a peek of what’s to come on the new album with the Nelly-featured “Lose Control.”

Lloyd is a solid artist. He has a real pretty voice. He doesn’t seem to have a huge faithful fanbase though. This is a nice little jam.

I like it. I love how my hometown homie Nelly’s voice flows on the track. I’m a Lloyd fan. I recently became one w/ the Girls Around the World song. I want my hair to be that damn straight when I leave the shop. Did u see his hair in that video? This song is a solid slow song though.

I agree with Brian, Lloyd is sometimes underrated though he puts out alot of cuts and I really liked Street Love very solid and didn’t fall into the Sophomore album jinx. Haven’t listened to this cut yet but the Girls Around the World with the Ghetto Heaven sample and the Lil Wayne sample of Rakim is FIRE!!! good summer joint.
