Lloyd is currently working on his new project, Lessons In Love, which will be Lloyd’s third effort. I have actually been a fan of both of Lloyd’s previous projects, Southside and Street Love. Although sometimes highly underrated, Lloyd is consistent and puts out a quality album with solid records and singles that garner him good attention.
While he’s currently on his second single, “Girls Around the World,” featuring Lil’ Wayne, and gearing up to release a third single, “Year of the Lover,” with an album slating for August 5th release, Lloyd gives up a peek of what’s to come on the new album with the Nelly-featured “Lose Control.”

Lloyd is my boo and I’ve loved him since his “Southside” days. Lloyd is definitely slept on and I hate it when people compare him to Michael Jackson because Lloyd is an entirely different type of singer than MJ and brings something new to the game. Lloyd can SING and I mean REALLY SING and not just carry a note. A lot of Black ppl just hate on Lloyd cause he’s exotic looking with his perfect skin color,long,wavy hair and seductive eyes. Most Black ppl need to tell the truth and shame the devil cause they know they would kill to have Lloyd’s long,silky,waist length hair.
