Sterling Simms, who has released a couple different singles in order to generate some buzz about his project has come out with a new song with hitmaker, The Dream. I’ve been getting quite a few e-mails about the new tune, so I’m assuming that Def Jam is really trying to put some promotion behind this. I think they believe that this song is “the one.”
Initially impressed with Sterling on Jay-Z’s “Dig A Whole” from Kingdom Come and his second single, “Nasty Girl,” Sterling hasn’t really been able to achieve the radio-friendly hit that he’s been looking for. Maybe this record with The Dream will get him to where he needs to be, because a lot of his material had leaked.

Not feeling the song at all. The Dream’s beat are starting to sound similar BUT this guy has a nice voice. I would like to hear more from him and hopefully he’ll impress me unlike this song.

It’s ok, sounds like other stuff I’ve heard before. I don’t like it enough to play it 2nd time and that’s not good. I hope he finds right song soon, because he can sing. Singing isn’t his problem, it’s the production.

i was kinda expectting better especially from the dream but sterling simms aint that popular and this isn’ doing anything for him .I think his jump off song is 100 times better.

Just an observation.
I like this song. I keep playing it over and over, and I think Sterling sang this song just right. Lloyd to me is a great singer but his version just sounded like a high school crush song or something but Sterling to me made it feel more Grown and Sexy. I dont know why but his voice sounds more manly than Lloyds and that fit the song better to me!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope Sterling gets it, or gets a better HIT!!!!!!!
