Mary J. Blige looks elegant on the August cover of Vegas magazine. Inside Mary discussed several different topics including how she changed her life after Aaliyah’s plane crash in 2001, and how she feels about the show American Idol:
“Honestly, it’s not giving most of them a real chance to become an artist for the rest of their lives,” she explains. “They are on national TV every night. They have automatic fame. All of the greatest artists had to struggle for their success.”
Rihanna makes another cover this year with the August issue of InStyle magazine. Inside, she talks about her fabulous style of course and her favorite P.M beach styles:
A Short dress in a vibrant color that flatters my legs – and I do like showing mine. With accessories, I try not to do too much. So, simple jewelry like gold earrings. And I trade in the flip-flops for a pair of Gucci Shoes.

I like how the Rap Up cover shows each girl’s individual style. That’s something they’d each wear in real life.

The background over Mary J’s cover is nice and she’s dressed nicely, but that platinum blond wig and powder donut lipstick don’t look right at all! I also don’t like her facial expression.

Wow, the more i read this blog the more i see there are some truly hateful people out there. People taking time out of their day just to complain about how much they don’t like someone’s look. It’s nothing new but every time i see it i still have to shake my head.

As for RiRi-say what you want about her singing or rather her non-singing ability, she is a style innovator and has the makings to be a very big brand name like B, maybe even bigger but only time will tell. I ain’t mad at that get it girl.

@ Jane they are completly sold out in the majority of the big retailers..I found a copy before I knew it was sold out everywhere in a small shop but I was not going to pay £8 ($16) for a magazine…what the hell…British Vogue cost £3.80 (about $7)!!!
If in NYC you can find the Issue of Black Women in Vogue in any magazine shop downtown that sells all different kind of magazines…..Start First on 23rd st.. it’s simply Amazing…..I have One thing to say….THEY BETTER WORK…..
