According to Black Voices, Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long are on board to get animated for the upcoming ‘Family Guy’ spin off ‘The Cleveland Show’.
Earlier this week, casting was announced for the show, which will center around the character Cleveland Brown – which is voiced by white actor Mike Henry. Lathan, will play Cleveland’s wife, Donna, while Long, will voice the character of rebellious stepdaughter Roberta. ‘The Cleveland Show’ is set to debut next year..

I think Omorosa was being a bitch for no reason. The one time Wendy was being nice and genuine and she just attacked her for no reason. I wanted Wendy to rip her a new one b/c that was completely uncalled for. Completely.
For some reason you choose not to post the beginning of the interview. If you posted the first segment, you will see why Wendy called her the angry black woman. Omorosa came out on the stage with and attitude and tried to attack Wendy before she even had a chance to welcome her. If you ask me, Wendy exercised great patience and was very professional, still continuing to interview inspite of the fact that she was clearly trying to start something. Omorosa was start controversy from the beginning of the interview, so people can do exactly what they are doing today – talk about her.
Omorosa is the stereotypical angry black woman and she’s incredibly immature and unprofessional. She should be ashamed of herself.

Haven’t had a chance to watch the clip, but I don’t feel any sympathy for Omarosa. She is the epitome of black women stereotypes. Constantly trying to start any type of drama or “beef” so that it can circulate some publicity. I’m sorry that Wendy didn’t dig in dat @ss!
I know a lot of people may not like Omarosa, but I like her. She’s intelligent, agressive ,and knows what she wants. She also has good networking skills since she’s able to keep getting gigs and is now writing her own book. I agree with what she said too. If a black woman is serious about her business and is unrelenting with BS she’s automatically labeled an angry black woman and that is not always the case. If she’s hostile about it then yes, but if she handles herself in a respectful way and is adamant about not being a pushover then that’s cool. There’s nothing wrong with that.
I’m so happy for Sannaa and Nia. They have regular acting gigs. I am a huge fan of Family Guy, so I’ll make sure to watch this and hope it’ll be just as funny.

I saw the clip with Wendy Williams, and I want to know why she is frontin like she is a good postive upstanding black woman, when we all know she talks mess and starts drama on the daily. I might like Omarosa all that much, but I can say that everytime I have seen her on TV she carries herself well. she is confrontational when she has to be, but she is very well spoken and intelligent. I think she is right that when a black woman sounds intelligent, stands up for herself and carries herself well, then people assume she is a sell-out or a angry woman, but if she acts ghetto and is a hater then she is a typical black woman. Omarosa might not be the most likable person in the world, but you can’t knock the fact that she is business savvy and smart. Wendy is just trashy!
I dont know if anyone noticed, but we are in an economic recession. You can follow that dumb ass advice if you want to. You get an offer for $40,000 while the rest of the Country is fightin for scraps and you say to the employer, “NO” you’ll more than likely just be replaced by someone with the same credentials who is gonna say, “YES.” Let’s not forget that if youre “offered” a job-the negotiation can only start AFTER you get youre foot in the door and have proven to be an asset to that company. That clip was FAH (funny as hell)! O’rosa slapped Wendy’s hair back…litterally! I hate triffling women like Wendy! There is nothing necessary or relevant about her show. You can tell that O’rosa has been waiting for a chance to tell her off! Wendy may be the shock jock, but she got an arch flash of her own messing with O’rosa.

When you’re doing voiceover work, the unique thing is that you don’t have to be color specific. Cree Summer from a Different World was the voice of the little white girl on Inspector Gadget, amongst hundreds of other types of cartoon voices she’s done, and Phil Lamarr from MadTv is one main voices on Family Guy, no doubt voicing white characters.
Voiceover work is where many actors, black and white make their bread and butter when they can’t get tv or movie roles and it can be EXTREMELY lucrative if you are able to voice different races and ethnicities. Many of the white voices you hear on radio commercials could be black actors and vice versa.
I’m so surprised at these comments…to be honest BOTH ladies can be labeled as something…O as a stereotypical angry black woman and Wendy just as a stereotypical ghetto black woman and this is the reason both of them are “famous”. On another hand though Omarosa is direspectful while Wendy is simply just annoying… Omarosa was completely wrong for how she started this interview because you all know she wouldn’t have came out at Oprah like she did on this show. U can tell Omarosa was trying to start something with phrases like “I want the more edgy Wendy”…to be honest the entire interview was unprofessional.
