Solange- I really don’t care for her. I don’t know why people are all of a sudden so interested in her and her music. The girl grew up too fast, having a baby accidentally at such a young age and now she’s trying to act young again?

I really do like Keyshia, especially now that she checked her attitude. She’s really a sweet and caring person. I love her show as well. It’s so real. Her voice is great and I personally think that she’s the only real contemporary female R&B artist that we have left. A. Keys is there but I consider her just R&B/soul not contemporary (modern)

Amerie is my girl right there. I think a lot of you have no right to clown Amerie when y’all are the same people who are supporting that big headed alien. Signing with Def Jam was probably the worse thing she could do because they don’t care about anyone but 5 head. Plus, her music style doesn’t fit Def Jam. She should’ve tried to switch to Janet’s old label, Virgin Records.

We really don’t have a lot of R&B singers who can actually sing anymore, most of them are just performers who dance and have good beats. When R&B singers who can actually sing do come out with albums no one supports them.

Solange is only in her sisters shadow because society places her there, Keisha Cole can’t sing and need to stop wasting money on a mom who hasn’t even found all her kids and only leeches on Keisha because she has money and the other daughter is pretty much just like her mom. Amerie may need to focus on a different audience.

Whoever said Amerie voice was terrible obviously never heard her sing. Columbia had all of those great female artisist and didn’t know how too promote them. The problem is they have labeled all black music as hip-hop so you have artisist who are not hip-hop and the industry just does not know how too promote black artisist. Not pop stars but artist. She needs too do like Eryka, Jill, Maxwell, & Lauren and focus on bulding her craft and become a tour road warrior. Instead of trying to compete in that pop world. That is what’s over crowded. Everybody looks alike and sounds alike.

I actually like a couple of the songs on Solange’s new album, best of luck to her on her new project. I think with this new material people may take her more seriously as an artist, rather than someone who’s trying to ride on the coattails of her sister’s success.

I love how abstract Solange is with everything. Her whole style is very creative.
