Four families from all over the world will enjoy a day in Nassau County, as they launch its first ever tourism campaign. Ashanti definitely has a good stylist in my opinion .. shes not the best singer but shes got the look the industry craves. However she just looks so fake to me ..
Congrats Ashanti.Glad to see she’s giving back and she looks nice in these photos. I’m more appreciative of older music due to much of the garbage that’s being put out nowadays so while I appreciate some of the songs on her album that I’ve sampled cause of lyrics, her voice is not good for my ears to listen to so I couldn’t buy it. I like real voices that can blow.
I just want to say. I don’t get what’s so bad about Ashanti at all. Really, what’s so bad about her voice? What’s so fake about her? What’s so bad about this woman at all? I understand not being a fan of certain types of artist. But people just go hard on her for nothing.
Just because she’s not a power house singer, doesn’t mean she can’t sing or sounds bad. She never came in the game claiming to be the best singer, vocalist, artist anyway. She said it countless times herself. Am I Aretha, am I this, am I that? No, I just do my thing in my own lane. She’s not here to be the greats this or the best that. She’s just here to do what she does. I don’t see no harm in that.
Just because you have a strong, power house, church type voice. Doesn’t make you a great singer either. It certainly doesn’t mean you can’t be a wack artist yourself, just because you have a voice. Also, what is a real singer? Last time I checked, there was no such thing as a real singer. Just like there’s no such thing as real Hip Hop. Either you like it, or you don’t. If you don’t like certiain artist, ignore them, and listen to what you do like.
Also, there’s no middle ground anymore. You’re either one extreme or the other. Everything can co-exist, it doesn’t have to be a fight. If you’re not a fan, well ignore her. Stop looking for something that isn’t going to change your mind anyway. You want your real singers. Well, go look and listen to them and support them. It’s obvious you guys don’t support these talent vocalist you speak so highly of. Otherwise, they’d be sellling a ton of records right now.
Again, what did Ashanti do to y’all so bad? That’s right, she didn’t do anything to y’al. All she did was pick up a microphone. There was no harm in that.She dind’t hurt y’all personally, she didn’t ruin your life. So why all the negative darts toward her? You can’t dislike somebody you don’t know to begin with. Either way, music is about being diverse. I realize they have different artist here for different reasons. So I don’t see nothing wrong with what she’s doing.

I am allowd to do that. You had yours I had mine. Cool. Don’t worry, I’m not here to cut your head off and curse you out. Like I said already, all of these girls are different in their own way. Does it have to be a knock down drag out comparison fest. No, there is room for everybody.

Ashanti looked very nice, she seems to be happy where she’s at as a person. Remembering when she first came out it’s obvious that she matured from a young lady to a women. Her CD is good, there are a couple songs on there that I like, hopefully she will continue doing what she’s doing, you get it girl!!

I Love this chick.
I think Shanti is a beautiful girl but I do not like that red lipstick. Red lipstick is more for “mature” women. Younger women look better in more neutral colors or just a little lip gloss. The red lipstick ages her and makes her look older. Shanti stop borrowing your mama’s lipstick. Get your own!
I like Ashanti but sometimes she looks like a drag queen. Especially with the red lipstick.
