Gabrielle Union hit up the “Meet Dave” premiere in Westwood, California on Tuesday night. The actress co-stars in the movie with Eddie Murphy (who was a no show) and it will be released on Friday.
After viewing a few of the commercials of “Meet Dave” I’m convinced it’s going to suck, not to mention Eddie didn’t even show up to the premiere and he is the star! Didn’t he do that for Pluto Nash too? Anywho, Gab looks nice.

Gabby does look different….looks like she’s had her eyes lifted or a nose job. There was nothing wrong with her to begin with. I dont understand why most of these celebs get butchered on when they look great to begin with.
i think gabrielle union is beautiful, i’m a little disappointed she had a nip and tuck done on her nose, she was one of the few celebrities who didn’t have surgery, i guess that all changes now.

@ LJLOLLI – Thank you for clearing that up me that’s excatly what it is (the nose and the cheeks). I really hate that she got the cheek implants her dimples aren’t as defined any more. I thought that was one of the things that made her unique and beautiful (cause my daughter have same dimples she had before the cheek implants) but maybe Hollywood is not a fan of Dimples….

She really didn’t need any work done but I’m sure it has something to do with pressure from Hollywood…

Yeah, we all my see Gabby as being beautiful. And we may think she was “perfect”. But maybe “she” didn’t feel this way. I am pretty sure there is something everyone wants to tweak about themselves. And to someone else, they are just fine. And for the ones saying they don’t, to some they should. Halle and Janet both say they don’t feel beautiful. Now if that doesn’t sound crazy, I don’t know what else does. But hey, we can’t tell someone how to feel about themselves. If Gabby has had any nip and tucks, she has done it tastefully. PS isn’t new in the biz, but it is still taboo amongst blacks.
All of your posts are hitting on one of my pet peeves with Blacks and Hollywood. See, here’s where I don’t fault white folk, I fault us. The same roles are given to the same black women, Halle and Beyonce. Now, you can call me a hater, you can say I’m not satisfied somehow, but let me explain myself. Halle made a promise after she won her Oscar, that this was dedicated to the nameless women of color, but she also promised to help uplift other black actresses. Now, I’m not trying to be funny, all I have seen is Halle promoting Halle. I love Beyonce, can’t wait to see Obsessed. Unlike Halle, she worked with Jennifer Hudson, but at the same time, its easy to uplift someone who the public is already familiar with. Roles like the Etta James film should have gone to a black unknown starving actress instead of the same black woman. I don’t fault B for playing her (B is also the producer), but we need to understand that actresses like Union are underused because the roles are generated between two or three women, and we accept it, and they allow it. Now, if that’s not black on black crime, I don’t know what is.

Honestly, I don’t think she had any plastic surgery done. Look @ the first pic real good. It is the way she is holding her mouth. She never smiles like that. She is holding her lips tight against her teeth. Now notice the next few pics. You can see the dimples. She looks her regular self. Sometimes certain smiles can contort our facial expressions. I really think that it’s just the way she is smiling.

@jscene i know what you mean but some of the ppl questioning if she got work done aren’t trying to be negative. we all saw her before any supposed work and she was stunning then so whether or not she got more work done doesn’t matter imo BUT that doesn’t mean she didn’t get anything done. halle got work done on her nose. saying that doesn’t mean i’m hating on halle. i’m just stating an obvious fact. in this case, i have to agree with you that makeup was probably why she looks different. and the way she’s smiling too. i hardly see her dimples anymore. doubt she had cheek implants. most ppl don’t do that.i do think she’s ahd a nose job before but like i said, she was already gorgeous to begin with so the work wasn’t necessary

Her makeup is the wrong shade…maybe they tried to make it a certain color to set off the dress or something…never seen her wearing so much. then again, she doesn’t act much so maybe this is formal Gabby with tons of makeup. And she’s had more work done…no botox…another nose job, though. She better watch those…they start shaving and don’t know how to stop…it’s odd like Janet’s in the eighties. And Urbanchic, I agree! In response to someone’s comment on here… I met Gabrielle Union, and I went to school with the niece in that picture… 1–no, it’s not her real hair, and 2–no, Gabrielle isn’t a total beezy, she’s actually REALLY nice. I have met both of her sisters, and her niece (as stated above) and (true story) I have spent three days and two nights at Gabrielle’s personal home.
She is, without a doubt, indeed gorgeous and exceptionally kind…. and tall (I am 5’7” and she stood a few inches taller than I, and she was wearing running shoes).
For those of you who bad mouthed her… you really shouldn’t just base your judgments on her films, those are roles she is assigned and paid to play. Just because she was an evil cheer-leader in a film or a crazy diva doesn’t mean she is one in her personal life.
Gabby is still pretty… and ummm Beyonce hasn’t gotten that many roles from actresses.
