Rihanna is just as talented as anyone else out there imho. I see her as being someone who can entertain the masses. Why does everyone need to belt out ballads and do the ridiculous booty shake dance to be considered talented? If she threw on a long blonde weave and started calling her stage persona “Tasha” would you all feel better?

Frankly, I think it is silly to debate about who sings the best when none of them are stellar singers. They are all just good enough to keep our attention. Sorry, but Beyonce is hardly the best singer out there. Let them stick to entertaining us. Someone mentioned talent is not enough and I have to say I agree with that. Just because you can sing 3-4 octaves does not make you the best entertainer. You have to have something to keep the attention of the public because someone else will come along and grab their attention. Rihanna has everyone’s attention right now because she is interesting to watch and she looks good. I love her style and I think she comes across as a sweet girl.

Leave her alone, she is young and we should be proud of her. As for the rumors about her and Jay Z..I wouldn’t trust any man over 30 around a teenager. Hopefully he isn’t another R-Kelly. That’s all I’ll say about that. She’s grown, but I hope she has close family and friends to help her stay out of the traps that some of these no good men in the industry lay for young women trying to build a career in music.
