Check out this snippet of Keri Hilson’s “Return the Favor,” which was originally supposed to be the first single from her debut album, In A Perfect World…, which is set to hit stores on September 23rd. I think that they didn’t go with this song because it’s similarities to “The Way I Are,” but I love the song all the same. I’m really excited about Keri’s album. She just shot the video for her first single, “Energy” in LA. It was directed by Melina.

Here’s some new music from one of my favorite R&B crooners in the game, Joe. “Beautiful” is apparently some new material from his upcoming project. I actually was a huge fan of his last album, Ain’t Nothin’ Like Me, which didn’t really perform well from what I remember. “Beautiful” is a cool track though. I think Joe just needs more of a push from his label in order to get his project out there.

I believe “One Step At A Time” is Jordin Sparks’s third single from her album, which has been doing really well since the release of the Chris Brown duet, “No Air.” Jordin has been looking stellar recently as well. This is the official remix for the new single, produced by Kwame.

Many have been calling new artist and Def Jam signee Karina Pasian a child prodigy. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, plays piano, and now she’s creating even more of a case by singing in differently languages! I cannot deny it – she has an absolutely beautiful voice. Karina’s debut album, First Love is set to drop August 19th, and she just dropped her second single, “Can’t Find the Words,” and it was the single of the week on iTunes.

Jordin Sparks remix is not awful but its not great. I think the original version is better and suits her image and age.

I am a timb fan, and if you’ve seen Keri in the studio, she is a beast (most of the clutch is). But, sadly – I am getting tired of timb, and I’ve been waiting on Keri stuff for a while but a release in Sept for anyone is a bad idea. As 85 other artists are dropping their material the same month.

I agree with number 46. Keri Hilson is not going to do well regardless of the good songs that she has right now. I’m not really impress with. She does not have the star quality that i have seen so far with the other female RandB singers. But i applaud her for writing great songs.
