“The Greatest” is a new track from Michelle’s upcoming third solo album, Unexpected. So far, I have been digging all of the music that I’ve heard from Michelle, aside from that fan-made clip of “Hello Heartbreak.” What I’m really impressed with, is that the single, “We Break the Dawn” is very representative of the rest of the material on the album. Even though it seems as though Michelle is giving us a lot of midtempos, it is staying in the same lane of music.

Here’s some new music from Brooke Valentine, with the same track that has been used by Le’Che Martin of Making the Band, as well as Amerie on her last album, Because I Love It… This track has really gotten around. This song is definitely from some old sessions from Brooke Valentine’s shelved second album, Physical Education. I love Amerie’s version of the song, penned by The Clutch, as well as Le’Che Martin’s, so I guess that’s why Brooke’s isn’t doing anything for me.

For some reason, this song instantly became background music to me. I have been really anticipating Ne-Yo’s new release, Year of the Gentlemen, but I haven’t really been digging much of the new material that I’ve heard, other than the current single, “Closer,” which has been tearing up the charts in the UK, but isn’t being received as well in the US. I just expected this to be bigger for him. “Not Perfect” really just sort of bored me to tears. Hopefully this is just some album filler.

Day26 certainly cut a lot of tracks in that short span of time that didn’t make the album! It seems as though with all this bonus material, they could have released a second album by now! I’m glad they finally released new video for their current single, “Since You’ve Been Gone.” “Can’t Be Me” could have been a good song for the album, but it feels like there are some \holes in it. It’s just slightly underdeveloped.

Day 26 bores me. So does DK by the way. So does Cassie. Bad Boy is a wrap for me. It’s all boring! The only Day 26 song I like is “Together” and honestly Jagged Edge, Dru Hill, hell even B2K back in the day could’ve sang that song just as good if not even better than them. Idk.

@1 i agree with #4. What does looks have to do with anything? I mean sometimes people do want something to look at, but have you noticed that half of the “fine” singers sound like crap? Dru Hill, Boyz 2 Men, Jagged Edge, Case, to Donnel Jones aren’t the best looking people. But by closing your eyes and listening to them sing… will make your panties drop faster than Kim Kardash with a black man (off topic). But you have those people whom dont care about what musical talent means. Im not the biggest fan of Day26 but i support them because all of them can sing, not just two of them out the group but each one has their own unique sound.

Michelle’s song is really nice! She may not be to some people’s taste, but everything I have heard, I liked. I will be there next month on the 12th to get her album. Also, her song, “We Break the Dawn” is the number 1 dance song in the Country. So, her fans are obviously out there, and she will be just fine with this album.. Haters will hate, but Michelle is gonna shine!

Ne-yo- He definitely gave me well need nap. Lol, but seriously, it’s somethin’ about his writing that’s just so monotonous. He’s very talented, and definitely stays true to his writing style. But, damn Ne-yo, change it up just a lil’ bit. I can almost predict every harmony. “No Perfect” isn’t bad, but, I agree with Brian, it’s a little boring.
Day 26- I like the track, alot. I would actually prefer this song over a few songs on the album. It definitely needs to be finished but, other than that, I like it.

Day 26 is album is a beast.. You can listen to every song. By the way Diddy is not their manager. Day 26 has been getting promo, but it is haters like some of the people on here that holds them back. I like the Neyo song, it has a nice groove, but Neyo’s song’s aren’t aren’t instant bangers, you need to be up under someone who you love to get into that kind of groove, but I like it, and maybe I need to check out that Americ song that eveyone is talking about.

The Ne-Yo song is so dry. A song should capture you in the first couple of seconds. This did not. As a writer, her should know that.
