Day 26 bores me. So does DK by the way. So does Cassie. Bad Boy is a wrap for me. It’s all boring! The only Day 26 song I like is “Together” and honestly Jagged Edge, Dru Hill, hell even B2K back in the day could’ve sang that song just as good if not even better than them. Idk.

@1 i agree with #4. What does looks have to do with anything? I mean sometimes people do want something to look at, but have you noticed that half of the “fine” singers sound like crap? Dru Hill, Boyz 2 Men, Jagged Edge, Case, to Donnel Jones aren’t the best looking people. But by closing your eyes and listening to them sing… will make your panties drop faster than Kim Kardash with a black man (off topic). But you have those people whom dont care about what musical talent means. Im not the biggest fan of Day26 but i support them because all of them can sing, not just two of them out the group but each one has their own unique sound.

I like the Neyo song, it has a nice groove, but Neyo’s song’s aren’t aren’t instant bangers, you need to be up under someone who you love to get into that kind of groove, but I like it, and maybe I need to check out that Americ song that eveyone is talking about.

I really like Amerie as a person, she has a nice personality… but when it comes to singing that’s a No No. I’m sorry but in Amerie’s song with the same beat as Brooke’s, Amerie’s voice is all over the place and she has some very pitchy spots. Also if this song was recorded for Physical Education it would mean that it was probably recorded early 2006, so it may of been before Amerie did it, since I don’t know when she recorded it.

I agree with Michael, when listening to Amerie’s version and Brooke’s version it is more than clear that Amerie has it on lock (even though she was definitely pitchy on certain parts). The vocal production (especially on the hook) is like “Why dont we fall in love” and “1 Thing” rolled into one. She brings this crazy fun and ecentric energy to the song and makes it a banger. Brooke has very nice vocals (Covergirl, Dying from a broken heart) but the production of this song does not mesh well with her vocals…it sounds dry and uninspired. Now as for ms. LeChe her version “Getaway” gives it a more laid back smooth feel…love her version also!

Let’s be honest. Honestly you’re a Amerie fan and I’m a Brooke fan, and to me that 1 thing that got me trippin is Amerie. Ok, the reason why Physical Education never saw the light of day was not Brooke’s fault. It was Virgin Records, who she was signed to at the time. She knew they were horrible and once she saw how poorly they promoted Janet’s album she refused to turn her album in. So that’s why it hasn’t been released. Plus she is signed to Subliminal Entertainment which was distributed through Virgin, but now it isn’t any more because she “fought” to get off Virgin.

And let’s just say, Amerie’s latest album, “Because I Love It” was soooo successful in the United States… but wait, it wasn’t released there either. So don’t hate on a singer that had trouble to get her album because of her record label when Amerie didn’t get her album out in the U.S.

Oh, and I’ve seen Amerie perform. Especially on Ghetto superstar when she replaced Mya. She was soooo good I had to cover my ears so they wouldn’t bleed. Most people know how good of a singer Brooke and that she has a great voice. Amerie just had a little luck from people like you. You’re also probably mad that it looks like Brooke “stole” Amerie’s beat when Brooke recorded the song before her.

So look, I really didn’t want to reply to what you said, but a number one fan has got to do what they gotta do. And I never said Amerie could never make a hot song. I just find that her voice is usually out of tune when I hear her most of the time.

Yo did anyone see So you think you can dance last night? They had Michelle song The Greatest as they sent the young girl comfort home. That’s a big statement about her songs the are being played on TV shows

Michelle Williams has a beautiful voice and could be a great artist if the label give her TLC. Im feelin her all the way.

Ne-Yo is cool. I loved his first album but since his first album he’s been slipping. I don’t even know what to say about him. He needs to pick the ball back up. Dig deep within himself and think about something real dramatic so he can sing about something worth listening to. Same thing with Usher.

Day26, their on bad boy’s label….need I say more. Bad boy is extremely overrated. I don’t know why these boys even fought to get on the label. Yeah yeah…DK done really well but think about it. When they came out they didn’t have any competition except for Donnie (which we haven’t heard nothing from) and Day26. When your competition is somebody who doesn’t have an established fan base, of course you’ll do well. Anyway, I’m not really feeling them or the song. They need to give it up and go back to what they were doing before Making The Band.

Brooke can really sing. I mean if you’ll heard her on David Letterman or AOL Sessions then you know vocally Brooke is a beast.

OMG, she looks so pretty. I saw her profile on millionaire&celeb dating site “***C e l e b C u p i d.c o m***” last week. What kind of relationship is she looking for on that site? Just curious.

I don’t know why people hate on Day26, their album is the business. I love this song too, shuld’ve made the album. There are finally 5 dudes in a group who can sing their asses off, yet people always try and hate, and don’t want them to succeed. I don’t know what’s going on with music now, but Day26 definetly have some classic songs. I wish people would stop comparing them to others, they are just paying homage, and trying to bring back real music.

Brooke is and will always be WACK. I like ONE song out of her whole cd and that’s a damn shame. Wish I could have heard Ne-Yo’s and Michelle’s track (came too late I guess). Not feeling Day26’s song either.
