Even though folks have been going up for T.I.’s new song, “No Matter What,” and they’re loving the video, it seems as though “Whatever You Like” is T.I.’s official first single. I don’t think it’s as strong as it could but, but it’s catchy and I think the ladies will like it. It’s not what I was expecting from an album that’s titled Paper Trail. I honestly like the intensity of “No Matter What” better. Hmmm.

I remember posting this a little while ago, but here is a new remix of “Brand New” with Lil’ Wayne. I actually love this version of it. Most are used to hearing Drake rap, but he definitely can sing as well. I’ve spoken to him recently, and he has been hard at work at his debut album, Thank Me Later. I think that “Brand New” should definitely be kept in the mix of his album. I’ve been waiting on Drake for a minute.

Although I’ve never been a fan, admittedly, Marques Houston has put out some cool tracks as singles over the last few years. Even though neither of his albums have soared to huge heights of success, Marques is definitely a veteran in the game (shoot, one of his album was even titled that). But there’s something about “Sunset” that just isn’t sincere to me. It just seems to be hoping on the whole “acoustic” trend, and Marques’s voice just isn’t doing it for me.

Check out this new track from Busta Rhymes, produced by Green Light, from Liberty City Invasion: Music From And Inspired By Grand Theft Auto IV. This song is really live. I am such a huge fan of Busta’s delivery, because it doesn’t matter what he’s talking about, or what he’s saying – it still sounds like a party. There is so much energy, I’m digging it.

I know I’m in the minority but I think TI is put on this pedestal he doesn’t deserve. His is alright, he’s no king of the South, not in the top 10 MCs that hot right now list, and he should be in jail. This clown continues to get praise. I don’t get it.

I’ve been such a fan of Drake since his early days on Degrassi. I love him so much. His talents are crazy! And with Weezy on the joint you can’t go wrong! I still love T.I. but he needs to put out better material. I ain’t even listen to the Marques Houston joint. His Rogers days on Sister Sister still come to mind. I ain’t listened to Busta’s but I’m sure it’s a guaranteed hit.

I don’t really agree w/ MH’s review. I feel emotion especially when I’m used to today’s R&B lacking it. I think MH’s song is pretty good and (my) iPod worthy. I also like Drake’s song and I could have done w/o Weezy’s singing lol. Also… I love Mr. Graham but everytime I see him, I’ll also think of “Jimmy” lol!
