Check out the real full version of Ciara’s “High Price.” It’s something about this song: I hate it, I love it, it confuses me, I get it. I just can’t get into some of the lyrics. Did she actually say that her hair looks softer than McDonald’s hamburger buns? I love the chorus, it’s so catchy, but I just can’t seem to allow myself to love it. I’m hoping that this isn’t the first single from the album, and I’m thinking that it won’t be. We’ll see, CiCi.

I prefer the version without Plies, but whatever. I don’t think he does much for the song. I think it’s because when I think about Plies, I don’t think “lover” – I think it has something to do with how, uhm, vulgar he is? I think that it’ll bring some more attention to the song, however, which is slated to be Lloyd’s third single from his upcoming album, Lessons In Love, due out August 5th.

Ice Cube is so much fun to me. I love him as an actor, and I just really like his delivery on most of his rap songs. I think one of my most recent favorites from him was his last single, “Church.” “Get Used To It” is the new single from his new album, Raw Footage, which, randomly is slated to hit stores August 19th.

Here’s an unreleased song from Chris Brown’s Exclusive, produced by Bryan-Michael Cox. I think that this could have made the cut for the rerelease of the album – regardless of how much I hate rereleases. This song definitely fits in the feel of the Forever Edition, however something about it feels unfinished. The vocals on the chorus sound nothing like Chris.

I think i moreso was appealed to the vocal production of the track. Who mixes opera-styled vocals over a crunk beat in order to make a hit? No one i know. I love the risks she takes, and i think the lyrics and cute and playful. Another great track from Ci. I’m pleased.

I have been bumping this Ciara ALL DAY. Very innovative approach on this song. On top of that the lyrics are really good. Basically saying I’m the stuff and to get with me you need to be on point too. LOVE IT. The beat is also very sick. Lloyd’s song is pure fire to me! Mario and Lloyd are 2 of the most underrated male singers in the biz. Mario has great vocals and Lloyd has a very different voice that sets him apart from some of the others. This song is going str8 on my ipod.
CB song could possibly be kinda hot, but the random dude singing on the chorus was throwing me off and I couldn’t really concentrate. But the verses were pretty cool.
I give CiCi credit for trying new things and I see where she was trying to go, however, I dont know if she would be able to pull this song off in a live performance. I’m not hatin at all bcuz I love Ciara, but everybody has limits and her singing opera would be a huge stretch. But I was feelin Luda on the track!

Lol I agree, I dont know how yall got “hair” and “booty” mixed up but thats ok. Anyway the song is definetly a grower. Its real strange when you first hear it, plus the lyrics are hard to understand. But once I had my 3rd listen I was knockin to it. I really hope she sticks with high price caues I could see her doing a really dark and action packed video to it, especially since the song has such a creepy/eery(sp) vibe to it.
