Angela Simmons recently released a new promo song entitled “Center of Attention” to promote her shoe line Pastry and their newest sneaker releases. We posted the song in the hot or not section a few weeks back and most of you voted it NOT hot.
Anyway, here is the video for the song, directed by Bryan Barber. Also peep a cameo from that fine ass Lance Gross and Angela’s sister and business partner Vanessa Simmons. In the meantime, check the sisters out during the new season of MTV’s “Run’s House”.

The video is cute…considering the plug for Pastry Kicks but the song I’m still not feelin. Maybe because its not marketed towards my specific demographic. This is more so geared towards young girls ages 9-14.

While I don’t intend to purchase any, the name of those sneakers, Pastry, is soooooooooooooooooooooooo tasty sounding lol. U feel like going into the shoe store and taking a bite out of them, they actually look like pastries to me lol! I would dive into a whole pool of Pastry sneakers and eat each and every one of them. Matter of fact, Angela Simmons needs to do an ad campaign a la Hansel and Gretel….yall know that would give u the munchies.
And Lance Gross looks too *sweet* for my liking.

That was cute and creative and so teenager/ young adult appropriate. I’m so proud of them little entreprenuers. They are both beautiful girls.
However, im starting to hate the show, it seems so freakin scripted and unreal….i mean who the fuck do they think they are foolin with them corny lines and bullshit story lines….Don’t get me wrong, the show is extra “cute-sy” but damn, it seems as if they are reading lines and the arguments are fake as hell, and just whatever…I’m over the show.

All we can say is that, it sounds better with a vid to it, but needs work on, i love the simmons sisters they’re phenominal. Not only that but who’s to judge, they’re making money and doing it their on way, with a “unique” personality and style, so let it be, personally, i REALLY like the shoes, wasn’t too sure about the clothing line, but after seeing this my opinion has swayed dramatically, as it seems like they’re clothes looks better worn, so a tip for Angela and Vanessa, like House of Dereon and Baby phat, and the infamous RocaWear, they should have actual models to model the clothes that they put on the webbie.

Okay I gotta admit that video is cute, I love the Simmons show and the girls. So I gotta change my mind, but Angie stick to writing and fashion because I wouldnt buy the album, not to say others wouldnt but just not feeling her voice.

It’s a nice video for the kiddies. I think it’s a creative way of marketing besides the usual boring commercials that’s on tv nowadays. Im an 80′s baby so I remember when commercials used to be a mini video anyway. LOL. Fruit Roll-ups and Mcdonalds commercials were like ten minutes long full of dancing and singin. LOL. Damn I want to be a kid again
