I loved this song the first time I heard it. She definitely has a beautiful voice and it’s so nice to hear something different. Today’s music focuses too much on sex instead of love or just having fun. She is conducting herself as a mature women should. It’s about time someone came out fully clothed and making good music. Women can be sexy without being trashy. I hope she continues to make music because she has a lot of potential. Ladies, we are in charge of what kind of image we portray. I just think it wouldn’t be fair to compare her to Lauryn because being compared won’t her a chance to blossom as an artist because people think she sound like Lauryn Hill and then going to think she is some carbon copy.That’s why the comparisons really don’t stick well with me.

I Lovvvvvvvvveeeeeee this song and this artist. I love the video because it was nice, simple, and to the point. It didn’t take away from the song with crazy special effects or some mysterious plot. I can’t wait for her album because I am definitely going to support her. She is an artist with a true voice. I truly hope that she stays true to herself and not let the label make her a puppet where she will start wearing tight clothes, dresses, overdone makeup, crazy weaves, and shaking her butt in videos. but as far as this track goes, it has LAURYN HILL written all over it featuring some Missy and Jazmine. End of story.

Whoever wrote and produced this song took a lot of cues from ‘The Miseducation.’ It’s plain as day, which is why so many people hear it.

I’ve heard Jaz doing ROund Midnight and Prototype and doing her own thing, but it is clear to me on this song that she’s doing Lauryn’s thing, and doing it well.

i’m glad shes finally getting the attention she deserves, they are playing this song to death on the radio and it never gets old. i been a fan since around 04 when songs from her shelved album started leaking, shes had the same exact singing voice at 14, 15 years old.

Lol @people asking if she was Chrisette. They have 2 COMPLETELY different voices. You can’t compare a Jazz voice to an R&B voice. I love both of the artists and you really can’t compare their voices and say one can sing better than the other. Chrisette at the Jazz festival was ridiculous with her high notes. I doubt she would sound so great doing R&B and I doubt Jaz would sound good doing Jazz music. It’s just not their realms.

I love the song and her voice, but somehow I knew that they were going to incorporate the reggae feel in the video, although it seems like a bit much. Love the song, not really a fan of the video.
