i love this song. i can see why people compare her to LH because she is a different breed of r&b. a breath of fresh air really.

plus, the reason why her video looks so “cheap” is because its a lovers rock type dub. All elements of the video have the downhome JA look and feel - the studio recording shots, the LP shots, Missy wearing a Bob Marley shirt (for those who don’t know).

These types of songs only require a video showing the artist really singing - a la LH- as opposed to a video where an artist is shaking her ass off to distract you from the fact that she can’t sing. i think the video and the song is FYAH

I doubt she would sound so great doing R&B and I doubt Jaz would sound good doing Jazz music. It’s just not their realms.

I love the song and her voice, but somehow I knew that they were going to incorporate the reggae feel in the video, although it seems like a bit much. Love the song, not really a fan of the video.

I don’t think it’s solid enough 2 get her seen, but the song makes u forget about the video. Hope BET and MTV pick it up…..Good luck in the future Jazmine!!!
