As a recording myself artist i’m feeling nas’ creativity level on this album. I don’t often comment on these boards but I heard his album from front to back last night and it’s so refreshing to see nas revert to his illmatic days on this album. It’s nowhere near that classic but it’s a grown man’s perspective on illmatic. The fact they made him change the name on this album speaks volumes about the censorship of artists within this money hungry and politically driven industry.

Every single person that buys this album is making a statement that we stand behind the truth…listen to queens gets the money…that track alone is worth the money for the c.d. I am in awe that 15 years later nas is still the reigning at his level, this is not an album that appeals commercially and is not targeted towards small minded individuals. He spits so much knowledge and so many point of views on his new album that its amazing the jack @ses at def jam let him put this out.
I want one single little wayne fan to tell me lil wayne’s entire album is on par with any single nas song on this album. If you have an i.q. and can think for yourself this is an album for you..nuff said.

I agree. Probably on the opposite end of the spectrum though. I thought that with the album being titled “Ni**er” that the brother was going to be no holds barred. When I heard that first song and he’s calling all races his “niggas”, I thought he had been compromised. I heard the album though and the brother did his thing. He’s almost there, God bless him.
