Rihanna, is very talented, and very intelligent. She appears to have the right people around her that are doing whatever it takes to get her to international stardom status. Her voice is not the strongest, and her stage prescence isn’t as commanding as other performers but she can improve on those things as time goes on. As far as this video goes, it is very different from what is out right now. It’s edgy, for a more international audience. Her latest project, Good Girl Gone Bad steered her into a lane of her own. I’m thinking this move was to prepare us for what is to come from Rihanna. (We’ll have to see).
I feel that it is more of her record label molding her into the artist that they want her to be instead of her controlling her career. (I could be wrong). In any event I am proud of her, especially reppin for the carribbean
