The text message song is “cute” but “cute” music doesn’t mean its a hit!
Please excuse my hands has a nice sound to it, but the concept of it is a sexual harrassement case waiting to happen. A man has to be in control of himself, and not because I have a bomb ass body means that you have to put your hands all over me and be out of control….as a matter of fact, I’ve just decided that that song although the sound is good, the message is garbage!

obviously everyone is buggn out on plies case. as an artist you do not have to like him but you have to respect the man. he is doin something people like if he is selling albums and sellin out shows and having his name on the tip of everyone’s tongue. he is doin something right. he is a real person, doin things for his community, a foundation, and scholarships and givin money out to help people at his shows or on the radio. PLiES is that person thats buzzin at the moment. AS FAR as the image thing goes doesnt every rapper claim to be some type of hardcore person gangsta, thug, goon, or whatever. he is smart he knows what he has to do to make money. listen to the album, it will give you a different thought. but the video could have been better.

I am shocked that Plies has a degree in English merely because he puts himself out there as a thug… but if he did not, it wouldn’t surprise me. A degree means absolutely nothing and I’ve got a few. He could have gone to a crappy school or to a good school but English was a crappy program…it could be anything. I honestly know a girl who can hardly speak English, let alone write in it and she has an English degree. I also know a girl who got a degree in an area that she really could not be more clueless in. When someone has a PhD (I don’t) is when I’ll automatically think they know tons about their area of study! It is rather fake to pretend to be some killer, though…
Don’t know why everybody hatin on Plies. I guess you either have to be from the South or be a TRUE GOON to understand which I take none of ya’ll are.

Raheem is under rated. The Love Experience album is my fav and “You” is the ish! He puts on a wonderful show also. It’s refreshing to hear someone sing “to” you and not “at” you all the damn time. Artist like him are keeping “real”music alive. Even though I’m really not feeling “Text Message”….I’ll take it over the other two. Just my opinion.
Being from florida I know plies not personally but I know his music. Its funny how now he is more in Miami than Ft. Myers and rarely represent his “hood” that he claims to be from. He doesn’t get as much respect in Ft. myers as you would think. I am not saynig he is not from there but think about. Why do alot of people from Ft. Myers that I know don’t respect him??? It might be because he is not as real as he claims to be. Don’t get me wrong he makes great music and talks about some very “real” situations but from my knowledge he doesn’t write his own stuff or even come up with the ideas. (From what I know he does write the ones on girls though.) Its a shame but he is doing what he has to do to sell records… I’ll do it to if I had the chance. Have you heard him speak in person??? Notice his rapping voice compared to his singing voice?? tottaly different…Who am I to hate he got bills to!!!
