This song is just ok, the only voices I heard were Beyonce, Fergie, Mariah, Mary J and Rhianna, the other ones were just not distinguishable at all, didnt hear Ashanti, ciara, don’t know Miley’s voice and dont know anything about Natsha Bedingfield, they couldv’e done better with this song, its not good as We are the World, or the song You will Know, or even when the rappers did We’re all in the Same Gang, this is not a #1 song at all.

For this many artists to be on the song, I think it would have made sense to give each person two or three lines so we heard wach individual voice then everyone on the chorus. I love Beyonce and Rihanna and Mary J, but they dominated the song. For instance, after Beyonce got the whole first verse to herself, she continued to be the featured voice in the add-libs throughout the remainder of the song. I heard some background falsetto from Mariah and a good amount of Melissa Etheridge.

Overall, the song was nice and it benefits a worthy cause. My only questions are why the song wasn’t a little longer and If only a few of the voices were going to be distinguished or showcased, why were so many names added to the contributing roster? Another idea would have been to recorded 3 different verisons, spreading the singers out, giving each a chance to be highlighted.

They should’ve signed Christina Aguilera on to do the bridge, but of course she would have blew all their asses out.

Melissa Etheridge and Mary sounded great.

Fergie and Rih’s parts were kind of cute.

Somebody hit a nice whistle note at the end-Mariah? Leona?

Everyone else was blah, though everyone sounded good.
