With a tour starting next month, Janet Jackson is also soon to premiere her new lingerie line. The line, named Pleasure Principle (Janet’s hit song from 1987) features a variety of bra styles ranging from sizes 32A to 44G, all under $40 bucks. Jackson collaborated with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi for the collection:
“There’s something for every woman, and that’s very important to us,” Jackson says. “I’ve always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key.”
The singer says she was hands-on during designing and sometimes worked on the line at 4 a.m. “I really enjoyed the entire process,” she says. READ MORE

I agree totally with #13, but NOT in this case. Yes, everybody is coming out with a clothing line, but the question is “how do you do it differently” and “how do you break away from the norm”. I believe Janet has found a niche which no one else is doing (in so far as other recording artists). Instead of coming out with Tshirts, jeans and jackets… she found a niche that is ideally “her” and coincides with her sex appeal… lingerie. The idea is almost perfect. Stop hating. Go Miss Janet!

Good look for Janet’s line having bras that go up to the cup size of G, but are they supportive. There are soooo many lines, including Victoria’s secret, who have cute, sexy bras, go up to DD or so, but aren’t supportive worth a damn. We shall see…
