Earlier this week Solange leaked a snippet of a new song on her MySpace. The Mark Ronson produced “6 O’Clock Blues” is a mellow, feel-good track, which finds Solange at a vulnerable point, crooning over melodic guitar, “Yeah, you keep me sheltered from the 6 o’clock blues…”
The song is to be featured on Solange’s sophomore album, SoL-Angel & the Hadley Street Dreams, which drops August 26th. Now it’s time to hear your feedback…

Beyonce is waaaaay better than Solange but Solange will do for now since no talents like Rihanna and Cassie are out there. At least Solange can sing I will give her that. But I cant wait until November. I’m ready for hot LIVE performances and we all know who is the Queen of live performances.

on another note, i do like the production. i was sitting thinking, “what beat is this originally” but i just realized that it’s a mark ronson beat and sounds sim to amy winehouse. but i liked amy’s album. so it’s all good

let me preface by saying I have always loved Solange. Since her first single off her first album. I can’t wait for her cd to drop. With that said, I wanted to know, has anyone noticed that while she is out, beyonce has not been around. (except for the pics from the paparazzi of course). Fo real though, since when in the last 5 years or more has beyonce ever taken a vaca??? fa real, She poops out albums. (eeeww lol). But right now, she’s quiet. shhhhhhh!!!! Maybe its to let Solange do her thing and I am not mad at it. The world needed a break from B so that we can enjoy her when she comes back.

So excited for her C.D . I just went on best buy to get a listing of the songs on her C.D. Im a bit dissapointed that “f’ck the industry isnt on there, but I guess im just going to have to download it and throw it on the mix cd. Im definately going to get her CD on the 26th!

well we know what decades she’s into as far as sound the ’60′s and ’70′s shes taking it old school, she has a nice sound, kinda of what amy winehouse does, good stuff, will most def cop that album. oh and i love the way that not a lot of the post here mention big sis beyonce, but just solange in her own right.

Solange you have a great voice but i think you trying to do to much… to be different just relaxe and sing and too much is happening in dat video my head started hurtin i couldnt see u cause it was jumping from set to set. just give me one slow song all black back ground and just you blowing then you’ll be da shit….. cause all bullshit aside you can sing but you just do so much that we cant focus on you voice….. trust me i know a hit in the first 2min og hearing it……
