I hate that I got to a point when death doesn’t even phase me any more….I swear it just seems like all the GOOD people are dieing! I am deeply upset right, now…I was suppose to be on the web to do some important info, but when I saw that headline…my hear skipped a beat! There would NEVER be no-one like Bernie Mac, he is last of the realest BLACK MEN! He reminded me of my uncle who had past last year…we had always compared Mr. Mac to my Uncle so this hurts my soul…But every time I hear about someone passing that are GOOD, I am more upset of the people that they leave, because I figure that they are in a better place but its the family that tends to suffers the most….So pray for his fam ya!! I send a silent prayer to the Mac fam, I can only imgaine the heart ache they are going through right now!

I feel so sad…its that same feeling like #16 said. Even though its been like seven yrs since she’s (Aaliyah) been gone it still doesn’t feel real.

Bernie Mac always reminded me of my father. Straight to the point, no bullshit, but funny while telling you like it is, stern, and has a powerful voice that would cut through your soul if you did something wrong.

I love Bernie Mac and am really sad that he is gone. I didn’t know he had sarcoidosis…

This was so shocking to me this morning. My co worker and I were just talking about him and we changed the channel to FOX News and saw the headlines. I was speechless. RIP Mac Man! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I also read where his mother died when he was only 16.

I thought this was just a rumor because the other day I heard he was still in the hospital, but now I see its actually true. Its sad when we lose anybody, but I really did admire Bernie and have been a fan for a long time. He was the main reason I enjoyed the Kings of Comedy movie and how he kept it real. RIP to one of our greatest.

RIP Bernie MAC, thanks for the laughs!!! I loved him in “Friday” as Mrs. Parker’s man on the side and in “Kings of Comedy” this man was a comedy legend!! He will be missed!!!

Wow. To get up to this news, I am truly shocked and saddened. Bernie Mac was an original. He didn’t copy anyone, and nobody can duplicate his style. He only had 10 or 15 minutes in the movie “Friday,” but his 10 or 15 minutes in the movie were some of the most memorable in the film. He was truly a comic genius. Sad, sad day.

WOW! I did not expect this to happen. He will be missed big time! This shows you that tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. Live your life, love everyone, proceed, and progress!

OMG!!!!!!! I just saw the post, and I have to say that I am totally shocked!!!! I knew he was in the hospital, but they said he was improving. I still can’t get over the death of Gerald Levert and his brother………. and now this!!! I loved Bernie Mac’s work. He was a funny man. I will miss him, no doubt. FYI Bernie has been suffering from a disease called Sarcoidosis which there is no cure for. The lungs are the organ commonly affected by this disease. This is also explains why is eyes would drop sometimes.

OMG!! I can’t believe this. My heart sank as soon as I read this headline on CL. He will be truly missed. He was one of the best to ever do stand up.

This is horrible news to wake up to…..He’s in better place now….Sarcoidoisis is a terrible condition…My cousin mother recently passed away from it at a very early age also….

OMG this is so hard to believe. R.I.P. I i always got mad when he start sayin “America” but i loved how he did his show. He will truly be missed. May he rest his soul in peace. My heart goes out to his family and friends at this hardest time of their lives and may they continue to get strength from God. He will be surely missed.

This news saddened me, I worked closely with Bernie on a big production scene for the Disney film Old Dogs, he was so incredibly nice and sweet, and took the time to sit with us upcoming actors and gave us advice when he didnt have to answer our questions, I truly admired his character and he will be missed.

oh my goodness. i and my parents are in utter shock and i am so perplexed because all said he was getting better, thus, i truly believed he was. then this morning on msn i read that he passed away. first heath now him…unexpected deaths and it is just…it’s not right. but now that i think about it, a person with sacroidosis who becomes stricken with pneumonia has quite a fight ahead of himself or herself. it is just so devastating that it had to be Bernie. R.I.P and my condolences to his family and friends.

Bernie I think… besides chris rock and eddie murphey was the only comedians to work with A list celebrities and out shine them… I remember going to see the king of comedy at the movie theater and it was crowded with african americans and we were there laughin… getting out of our seat clapping like we were there at the actual show like one big family…..
