Still shocked and saddened by the news of Bernie’s death. May he rest in peace

We didn’t lose another great talent. His work lives on in our hearts. Redd Fox, Richard Pryor, and his mom were all waiting there in the wings to greet him and welcome him home. What we should take from his moving on to his next journey is to leave your mark while you are on this one. We waste a lot of time doing foolish things that we end up regreting. Peace, love, and happiness is what we should strive for in our daily walk and remember that God judges our hearts. May the peace of God be with Bernie Mac’s family and fans.

WOW. I am in tears. I heard the news when my brother said he heard it outside on a radio somewhere. I logged up my computer trembling–hoping it wasnt true. The WORLD has lost a extremely talented comedian, father, & actor.

I am extremely sadened by this tragic news.

What is sad is my sisters and I were watching Guess who last night and we were dying. He was amazing in that movie. The one line he used that i thought was great was “Meredith don’t force me to use the muscle” that was mad funny if you have seen the movie

When i logged on and saw this it devastated me. Why does it always seem like when people are in the hospital and you think they’re getting better all of a sudden they’re gone. Bernie Mac was a great comedian and actor and he will never be forgotten. My prayers and condolensces to his family. That’s why we have to appreciate the things we have while we have the chance cause tomorrow is not promised to nobody. Tell people you love them today. Don’t hold grudges. Forgive and let go don’t let anger destroy your soul. LIVE LIFE AND BE HAPPY.

Hope the journey was peaceful brother. I never met u, but yr vibe was that of a cool dude. R I P. I don’t know why, but this death hit me kinda hard this morning. Am so pissed right now. My dad layed in a hospital bed for almost two months with a tube stuck in his mouth dying from lynphoma. Little did I know when I was going on vacation abroad I will never talk to my dad again. Man Life I Swear………

WOW!?! I’m speechless. like how?!? I, of course, heard about him being hospitalized for his pneumonia but I didn’t even bother with it because i thought he was gonna get through it just fine. But I NEVER for once thought….. WOW

How tragic, the news came as a real shock to me and what a sad loss to the world of entertainment; I had not even realised he had been ill. He had a real talent for humour and brought a special something to the films and indeed performances he gave. He had real presence which meant your eyes were drawn to him.

My thoughts are with his family as I can appreciate their loss having lost my Father to a similar sounding illness earlier this year.
