Sen. Hillary Clinton, a self-proclaimed “proud supporter of Barack Obama”, called on the Democratic Party to rally behind the Democratic presidential candidate, adding that “it is time to take back the country we love and whether you voted for me or you voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose.”
Clinton was met with a standing ovation from an enthusiastic audience in the last speech of the night, as she thanked voters for supporting her campaign and reached out to those still wary of Obama. To sum it up, Clinton declared, “No way. No how. No McCain. Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our president.”
OBAMA ASSASSINATION PLOT?

Three men, Shawn Robert Adolf, 33; Tharin Robert Gartrell, 28; and Nathan Dwaine Johnson, 32, are facing federal charges after allegedly talking of assassinating Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
U.S. Attorney Troy Eid said the three never posed a serious threat to Obama, and none of the charges concern threats against him.
The three face charges that include possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of body armor by a violent felon, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
According to the criminal complaint, Adolf talked of killing Obama in Denver and during his inauguration. Considering you can only be killed once, it’s unclear if he was referring to Obama’s upcoming speech on Thursday or in January.
The complaint also states the men reportedly referred to Obama with a racial epithet and said that such a person should never live in the White House. Eid said they “could not believe how close he (Obama) was [sic] to becoming president.”
DYSON CALLED ON OBAMA BOOTY TALK

Named by Ebony as one of the hundred most influential black Americans, Michael Eric Dyson is making headlines for another reason.
In a statement to EUR, Media critic Paul Porters said:
“TV One’s “After Party” analysis of Michelle Obama rear end by Michael Eric Dyson, lacked class while lowering the low standard for television news.
Dyson’s admiration for Michelle Obama’s figure was off base and deserves an apology from TV One and and the Georgetown professor.
It’s tough enough trudging through opinion based biases on a daily level with pundits and analyst, Dyson has officially added sexism to mainstream media’s divorce of discussing real issues.
Michael Eric Dyson referenced a recent trip to Europe, by labeling European women with flat rear ends and was proud to see Michelle Obama’s, “gluteus maximus” as a symbol of the beauty of African American women. Education and common sense are obviously two distinct values and Dyson’s comments are living proof.”
HILLARY CLINTON TRIBUTE
The Democratic National Convention offered a look at the life and achievements of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, narrated by her daughter, Chelsea.
In a well-received speech last night, Clinton threw herself behind former rival Sen. Barack Obama and added, “Now John McCain is my colleague and my friend. He has served our country with honor and courage. But we don’t need four more years, of the last eight years.” She is expected to free her delegates to back Obama today.

OH, and if they kill Obama they had better get ready because that will really set it off like they have never seen. You want riots? You will surely get them. I’m talkin 08 riots we aint in the 60′s. This place will be turned upside down. Try it.
I havent seen the show with Dyson talkin about michelles booty but WOOOOW! Really? REALLY? Come on now, you’ve GOT to know better than that. If he was white Sharpton would be having that show cancelled. WE ARE MORE THAN HIPS AND BOOTY! Give me a break already. Gosh.
So, now Obama and the DNC want to hold the roll call away from the main hall, and stop the vote partially through … just in case Hillary does well, which might embarrass Obama and the DNC. This is what happens when a candidate and a party manipulate the process, and try to force a candidate down the throats of the constituents. Obama might have trashed the Clintons, and gotten over 90% of the black vote, but in the process America has been thrown under the bus.
P.S. After watching Hillary’s speech, it became obvious that she should be the democratic candidate. Many democrats must be feeling buyer’s remorse towards Obama now
@LETSLOVE
Thank you! Senator Clinton’s speech was…what she had to do. There will be a portion of Hillary supporters that will not vote for Obama, regardless. They wouldn’t be pleased if he had made her VP. Why? Because to them she SHOULD have been President. Hence, there is no “right way” with the die-hard unmoving Clinton supporters. It is quite a shame they can’t see pass their own selfishnes for the good of the country. Hillary Clinton, in general, has disappointed me beyond belief. Her behavior throughout the primary was horrible. I won’t cite examples, just google it. And the behavior of her supporters, James Carville and Lanny Davis (to name an infamous few) just illustrates that a Clinton administration would have been disastorous.
Yet its time to turn the page. And I hope and pray that Clinton WORKS hard fundraising for Barack (although she has to retire her own 30 million debt). And she uses that fervent energy she demonstrated at the convention with her heavy hitter supporters closed doors. I am glad that Joe Biden will be the VP!
@ #17 – Hopefully you check back in…I just saw the video of the woman (Anne Price-Mills) you mentioned in your post. It is at cnn.com (http://www.cnn.com/video/...26/sot.hillary.entire.cnn) – for those of you wishing to see it for yourself. Like you, I too wanted to slap her. The fact that she had the audacity to make it seem like HClinton is the end all is ridiculous. Wake up people, fix your own life and stop depending on the folks on Capitol Hill to fix it for you. Barack is more than well-suited to be the next President of the United States of America – get a clue lady!
There are a lot of racist white boys out there who are going to try to kill this man.
No matter how many strides black women make in the world, we will always be seen as physically or sexually gratifying, probably moreso than other women. Maybe because we are shape differently than most women or because in Africa and places of the African Dispora, the black woman’s body has always been sexualized, and not romanticized as other womens bodies. So, Dyson making a comment about Michelle’s backside will be deemed as acceptable because black women bodies have never been sacred as a white woman’s body. We can even recall the incident with Condoleeza and the former President of Israel, he told the press that he couldn’t concentrate on their conversation because he was focusing on her legs. No matter how we define ourselves as black women, men in general will always openly talk about how physical attributes moreso than our minds, that’s reality. Now, it’s how we use that to our advantage. Do. we become like Michelle Obama and keep it classy to make our husbands look good, or do we become a woman that feels that the only thing she has to offer a man is her body?
But, in Dyson’s defense, since I’m a Michelle Obama stan, I’ve noticed that most men are in awe of her, and gush, so maybe Dyson’s words came out wrong. Sometimes, men became so involved with looking at a woman he forget that his thoughts should not become words.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! @ 51, 52 and 53. I swear people have selective memory when it comes to this election!!!
Oh and the black woman on CNN last night made me want to jump through the television and slap the mess out of her. It was ridiculous!! I understand the emotion but GET OVER IT!!!! I struggled with my support in the beginning because I am a black woman. However I did my RESEARCH and made my OWN decision. I am OBAMA ALL DAY. However if he had lost to Hillary, she would have automatically gotten my support. No matter how pissed I was about him not winning. TheHillary supporter piss me off!!! How in the hell do you call yourself a true Democrat if you vote for McCain!!!!!
Did anyone notice that at the beginning of HClinton’s speech she described herself as everything BUT a proud wife? Hmmm….
Nobody stole anything from Sen. Clinton, not enough people voted for her, end of story

hillary nailed it last night
the 2 racist plotters on the right look like vanilla ice and dj qualls, respectively
i have never liked michael eric dyson….i have always thought of him as just another militant, ignorant, gasbag….once again, he proves me right
#60….sweetheart, you don’t have to support obama….but u also don’t have to lie to yourself to validate your not supporting him…hillary did not win the popular vote (even when you included the flawed primaries)…..she has more votes only when you don’t include caucus estimates (obama won all but 2 of them)

–Sweetie, its a WELL-KNOWN FACT that she won the popular vote. 18 million votes
–Check CNN/MSNBC/NY Times. She won it.
–Yes, Obama should be thank-ful for those caucuses.
–As I said before, I’m not voting. You like/love Obama…I don’t. We disagree. Leave it
–at that
i just wanted to comment on the idea that ‘not voting’ is somehow better than voting for mccain. . .or even as someone mentioned ‘that just because you’re black doesn’t mean you have to vote for obama’. in this situation, not voting is the same thing as voting for mccain–you cannot just throw your vote away like that and think it’s not going to mean something in the bigger picture. as in many of the past elections, even if you don’t like obama you are voting for the lesser of two evils–i most certainly hope that you don’t think that means mccain! obama is the democratic nominee whether you like it or not. take away skin color and even names and vote on the issues. and true, you don’t have to vote for obama just because you’re black, but as a black person you have a duty to vote, period. too many people died and sacrificed for you to have that right, you can’t just throw it away.
I am so sick of people bashing the Clintons and their supporters if they are the closest thing to Lucifer himself. If it wasn’t for the Clinton administration this country would’ve been in worse shape because we would’ve endured 28-32 years of Reganomics. They were good for us at the time and that’s that.. IF BARACK WASN’T RUNNING…WHO WOULD YOU VOTE FOR? Nuff said. They aren’t perfect as people or politicians. You’ll see the same shit when Barack takes office.
Back to the video…it had some funny moments. The Hillary supporter holding the sign upside down jumping, the side eye glance Michelle was giving Hillary, the black girl crying that Hillary lost (WTF was that?). Over all Clinton did an excellent job.
#29…you’re baffled by how many Hillary supporters would vote McCain if she lost? I’m just as baffled at the Obama supporters that were willing to not vote at all just to spite the Clintons if he lost. Tit for tat.
#15…Clinton had to convince her supporters to vote for Barack. She referenced her policies and made it clear that her goals were really his goals as well. Nothing wrong with that.
#39…you’re quick to assume the looney woman that made an ass of herself, but just cause she was emotional on camera for a blip doesn’t mean she didn’t do her homework either and there are just as many crazy Barack supporters who are dumb enough to vote based on race.
Why is this Puerto Rican scum (*SIGH*) referring to black folk as Negroes? lol.. talk about bitterness
MEL and others ….
My vote is for Obama —- NOT because he’s black —- I’m voting because he represents the Democratic Party, which campaigns about issues such as better healthcare, more jobs, independent economy, and ending that long drawn-out fictitious war.
I am no fool to believe that EVERYTHING promised by the Democrats can be accomplished in four years, but I’d rather vote for a Obama rather than let a CLONE of George Bush take reign of the government. Sitting on the sidelines with my hands crossed over my chest and not voting would be idiotic — which brings me back to the woman on CNN.
Regardless of the woman’s skin color —- she was clearly out of her mind and wrapped up into an ILLUSION of Hillary Clinton being president. Miss CNN sounded like a hyped-up fan who is in love with a rock-star and could not give one political reason why she supports Hillary Clinton. The CNN woman “testified” and shook her head (like she was in church) that Hillary LOOKS and ACTS like a president. Miss CNN said this at least three or four times. If she had been white, I could easily see a Klan hood on her head.
Miss CNN rounded off the interview with her final statement: “I’ve voted every year of my adult life, but this time I don’t know if I will vote”. If a white person had publicly issued that statement, it would have been the subject of this morning’s headlines instead of only being mentioned on this blog.
Okay… I’m over it, moving on, ready to vote.
THANK YOU, HILLARY!
Vote people!
Hillary, madame, sister, BEAUTIFUL JOB. Hillary won’t be able to get the support of the poor, bigots after that AMAZING speech. She was the appropriate person to tackle race and gender because if a person of color attempt to…you know..we’re playing the race card. Hillary killed em. The Republicans were in such disbelief until their only response included showing some PUMA women. Hillary showed us what a true Democrat. kmniles, I agree with you, but Hillary supporters need to understand something, Obama supporters were equally bashed (Obamabots, O-bambis, etc.) Everyone was hurt in the heat of the moment. As far as identity politics goes, that has been going on forever. I agree with you that its dumb to vote based on race, but alot of our news stattions are pretending as if whites do not elect whites. Look at our past presidents, I think its safe to say that whites elect whites.
Our Republic (not Democracy) is not based on popular vote. We need civics classes.
but Hillary supporters need to understand something, Obama supporters were equally bashed (Obamabots, O-bambis, etc.) Everyone was hurt in the heat of the moment
______________________________________________________________________
—If I may interject for a moment..
—I can honestly say that the first punch was delievered by the Obamabots, as you
—put it, as a black woman, when I decided that I was gonna vote for HRC…WHEW!
—I was called everything but a child of God. Comments from…coon…uncle tom…
—sell out…and these comments came from CL posters as well, LOL!
—But yet, I nor anyone HRC supporter that I knew ever (in the beginning) called
—Obama supporters vicious names..
Personally I was upset with this race to begin with. Both Clinton and Obama are phenominal people that have a lot of credibility as great senators, great public speakers, well educated, and great civil servants. These two candidates should have been allowed to go against eachother from the beginning because they are exactly the same as far as policies which is whats important to me as a voter. I can care less who’s popular, who’s black, who’s white, who’s male, or who’s a female. Point is I need to know what they are planning to do and their strategies of how they are going to get it done to determine things. Their policies are IDENTICAL and you can go pick up their literature, read congressional transcripts and research their policies online if you havent already, which you should have done if you were voting the primaries.
To the person who talked about the popular vote, the popular is only there for show. Never has the popular vote determined anything. The primaries have always been based on the count of delegates, superdelegates, and the total amount of delegates reached. The delegates were based of the amounts of votes and percentages from each state. The superdelegates were in charge of their own destiny.
For those voters who choose not to vote, your comment on anything is worthless because you have no say if you choose not to say with a vote. That goes for Hillary supporters who choose not to vote because she didn’t win as well as the voters who said if Obama didn’t win they were not going to vote. Have yall watched the debates. These candidates are so identical to the point none of the experts could say who won the debates. Not one of them is more experienced than the other so get that out of your heads. Unless you were in the presidential seat before, you can’t claim experience. They are both senators and only if one were governor or mayor could they claim they have more of an advantage or a closer experience to being a president. If you are a so called democrat and believe the policies that were put forth by Hillary and you choose to vote for McCain then that means you support going to war another 20years, a low economy, continued tax cuts among the rich while middle class and lower class are deemed to pay off those taxes, expensive schools, more layoffs, more foreclosures, higher gas prices, and more global warming. You choose not to vote is a slap in everyone’s face who fought for women’s right to vote or African Americans right to vote. You are saying you don’t care about the generation behind you, but you will be the first to cry when you lose your job, your house, your child gets deployed to Iraq or soon to be Russia, while you pay higher taxes to make up for the rich not paying theirs. So go ahead and don’t vote, but also don’t complain. We need unity for a just cause at this point not bickering anymore. What does Obama need to prove to you he is the same, cartwheels with a torch in his mouth maybe?
# 68
You’re telling the goddam truth. People here were (and still are) unanimous that any HRC supporter is bitter because she lost and bamboozled by Bill and his saxophone. It’s enough to make you wanna puke.
I feel that what Dyson was taken out of context. And those that are familiar with his subject understand that it was a compliment and a reference to his love of black women. Sometimes “they” just don’t understand and take things to mean something different than their intention. Whereas the community the comment was used with understands it was a compliment. Like I said… out of context!
65. skmnile said “the side eye glance Michelle was giving Hillary”
OMG…. haha, I noticed that side eye Michelle gave while Hillary was giving her speech. Every time the audience got up to applaud, Michelle took her time to get up. You could tell Michelle hated that Hillary was up there giving the speech of her lifetime. I was like, Michelle peeps need to tell her how to do that Miss America smile when you’re on camera. If you review the clips, you’ll see Michelle giving the looks. I was looking online for those pics of Michelle when Hillary was speaking. If looks could kill, Michelle’s body language said, “I shot Hillary Clinton but I did not shoot the deputy.” (ref to Bob Marley)
—I am well aware how the political process goes during any presidential primary/or
–election. I was merely mocking how the system is joke, because they’re constantly
–trying to convince the public that their vote counts and that they can make a differen
–but in the end the only people that determine an election are a group of elite, that
–have the final say. It’s a complete joke. That’s why I always say that Obama was
–elected not selected by the American people.
Hi CL!
You know what..I just had an epiphany…
If you don’t want to vote, then stay home…We as Americans have the right to vote and no one is going to make you choose someone who you don’t believe would be a good CIC or POTUS…
However, you CANNOT complain about what happens to this country…and you CANNOT sulk about how you wish things were better..Also, that means that is one LESS vote for a Republican and one MORE vote for a Democrat…
So to all BITTER Hillary supporters who aren’t loyal to the party or still don’t see the EXPERIENCE of our candidate…please do us a favor and just stay home on Election Day..I’m sure American Idol or Flavor of Love 4 will be on…
This thought was brought to you by the letters B and O and the number 1…..
——–LISTEN TO YOURSELVES(THE ONES WHO ARE NOT VOTING), ARE YOU
——–SERIOUS? OUR ANCESTORS DIED SO THAT WE CAN VOTE, THEY DID ———ALL THAT HARD WORK, FOR YOU NOT TO VOTE BECAUSE YOU’RE ——————BITTER? COME ON! NOBODY SAID THAT YOU HAD TO LOVE OR LIKE ——————-OBAMA———TO VOTE ! I’M NOT TELLING ANYONE WHO TO VOTE FOR,——— JUST VOTE-PERIOD BECAUSE IN THE END IT DOES COUNT, WHETHER———– YOU BELIEVE IT—– OR NOT. OOps…My comment for #68 was really for 70
Some people must be under moderation…
75.
*Sigh*,
That’s a ridiculous excuse not to vote. Why even take part in a voting discussion when you have clearly made up your mind on how the voting system is a joke. I actually think the system works when people understand how the system goes. If you want to make a change then start somewhere. People that are delegates and superdelegates are ones WE the people are voted into those places, but people don’t pay attention to all of the other tick marks or the “smaller candidates” running for districts and cities. They are important too and sooner or later people will realize that those people they close their eyes and choose for the smaller roles are the ones who actually help make some of the biggest decisions.
Well said #69!!!
TO ALL THOSE WHO AREN’T EXERCISING THEIR RIGHTS
You know that old saying:
Stand up for something or you’ll fall for anything.
Nothing can ever be 100%. Just vote for the candidate who has policies that are MOST aligned with your primary personal beliefs.
The day a candidate falls out of the sky with all the right answers to everything is the day JESUS returns. What a glorious day that will be.
i love dyson, hes real intelligent, and i didnt take anything from the comment, i thought he was referring 2 her as a new-age woman, but of course the media take everything out of context, their just looking 2 start some trouble!
I meant well said #72!!!!!!!!!! CORRECTION
these assholes may not have been a serious threat, but someone else in the future might be,so i’m glad they acted so quickly on it….but i cant say i’m not scared for whats ahead………I hope God places a huge circle of protection around obama and his family, spiritually and physically (a great couple of body guards)
I was originally for Hilary but i could of sworn she was still talkin mess about obama less then a week ago…….i’m not sure what to make of this whole thing….this election….these issues i guess because i never paid too much attention to politics is why i’m skeptical because for all i know this goes on every four years with anyone that is nominated as a candidate but still………i just pray things turn out the right way cuz whoever we get were stuck! And even though i guess i’m for obama that doesnt mean the man won’t make mistakes and have us out here looking crazy,he talks a good game,we shall see though
Wow, there is nothing worse than a black person always trying to “friend up” white people. Yes that’s what you HRC supporters sound like. I bet you you’re the kind of black women that force your self onto white females for friendship and then when they FINALLY decide to let you hang with them you snub other women of colors and begin to take on a that oh-so-dreaded “superior complex.” I mean, what is this “Obama has to prove his self” mubo jumbo that some of you keep talking about. What exactly has HRC done that makes you such an adament supporter of hers? Some of you sound like you ready to sacrifice your first born if it meant getting her into office. I like Obama and all and will vote for him for my reasons but I don’t have a problem with Hillary. Like what did Obama do to you to make you sooooo bitter?
Like blue-bloods give a flying f*** about you! You will always be looked upon by them as “benefits” black woman. Oh I mean, nanny, house cleaner, secretary anyone. Gosh the effects of slavery will NEVER wear off some of you. And know, I’m not voting for O because he’s black with a fabulous black woman by his side, I’m voting for him because though I love his vision, I’ll be damned if I vote McCain.
Do yourself a favor HRC supporters, since she’s not a candidate anyhow (lol), vote for McCain and shhut your trap! And please try not to drown yourself in tears because HRC isn’t a choice for you (boo-hoo). Blacks will ALAWYS find a reason to tear the next black person down because you’ve been trained to do so. Oh by the way, it’s white people that’s giving O the most support! So go back to being the mammy for the Mrs. and go away. Disgusting!
hell-a-reee look funny as heck back in the day, okay your 15min of fame has now ended go sit it down.
oh well michelle is a very nice shapely woman i have no opinion regarding his comment.
oh yes, the three albino apes above better watch their backs because there would be a WAR if anything were to happen to Obama!!!!!

Let’s get real here. There is not a dang thing neither one of these people have ever done for you. Obama is talking out of his behind, just like all the rest of them. He ain’t running as a saint, he is a politician. He is auditioning for the job. You won’t know what he would do until he has it. My faith is in God not a man. I’m a Democrat and I will exercise my right to vote. Only one person can earn my vote and that is either Obama or McCain.
I got time to hear what they have to say cause up to this point it has all been hot air. I’ve had hope, faith and change for years. I now need some policies that actually work. Therefore, both McCain and Obama need to leave the rhetoric for their worshippers and give the real deal to those who actually care about the issues. I got a plan to that does not make me Presidential. They both need a detail outline and hopefully tomorrow Obama will make that case. I don’t want a “I Have A Dream” speech. I want a “I know what I’m doing” speech.
i DO NOT AND WILL NOT UNDERSTAND BLACK PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA…………..DO U KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS TO A NATION OF YOUNG BLACK KIDS WHO R NOT EVEN WALKING……STUPID AS HELL IS WHAT I CALL YALL….DO U NOT UNDERSATND THE SRUGGLE OF BLACK PEOPLE…..DO U THINK IF A MEXICAN OR ASIAN WAS RUNNIN FOR PRESIDENT……THAT EVERY ASIAN OR MEXICAN WHO CAN VOTE WOULDNT CAST THEIR VOTES FOR THAT PERSON……….U LOOK DUMB……….REAL DUMB RIGHT ABOUT NOW………AND WHAT MAKES HILLARY A BETTER CANDIDATE.DO U KNOW HERE PERSONALLY……AND THIS ISNT A RACE ISSUE…THIS IS A HUMAN ISSUE…..TO NOT VOTE WOULD B ACCEPTING THIS REPUBLICAN RACIST(PROVE YOURSELF TO WHITEY BULLSHIT)….AMERICAN STORY….I CRINGE EVERYTIME I HEAR THAT..LIKE BLK PPL R ALL MILITANTS…..GIV THM SUMTHIN THEY CAN RELATE TO…MICHELLE OBAMA GOTTA TALK ABOUT THE BRADY BUNCH AND SHIT……..THIS IS SUM BULLSHIT..EITHER U RIDIN WIT THA OBAMAS IR U RIDIN WIT THE ENEMY…..POINT BLANK……..THE CLINTONS WAS COOL BUT THIS MEANS MORE TO ME…..SORRY FOR THE UNCLE TOMS…U DONT MATTER…I BET U DUMMIES WOULD LAUGH IF OBAMA LOST.WHILE THE WORLD CRIES….WOW….IDIOTS
Well I’m not just going to vote for the sake of voting. If I don’t believe in either one of the candidates then I don’t that’s like asking me which one of my kids I want to feed.
IF Obama can show me why he is a good candidate instead of parading his banshee wife around then I can accept that but until then I’m going to look into moving out of this country.
@Sigh>>>you are obviously very bitter. If you want to sit and home and not vote or vote for McCain, please do so. Who really cares? I am a black woman who is well informed and will vote for Obama. Now, if people vote for him b/c of his color, that’s no one’s business but theirs. I’m not voting for Obama b/c he is black. I’m voting for him b/c I think he’s the right candidate. Now if you think black folks are all ignorant and can’t make informed decision, I suggest you get rid of that racist attitude. I don’t have to give a reason to anyone as to why I’m voting Obama. I want to and I’ll leave it at that. You are very condescending and obviously a bitter Hillary supporter. All the whining and complaining isn’t going to help – she lost, okay. Moving on…
I tell you I get so sick and tired of black people who support Hillary and then have to put down Obama supporters using that tired, “You’re voting for him b/c he’s black” b.s. How about going on some other websites and admonish those who wanted Hillary simply b/c she was a woman. Does that bother you??? Or those who AREN’T voting for Obama BECAUSE he’s black. Now if you want to whine, take it someone else. Sheesh!
Seabreeze (networking)
I want you to line the floor with pillows before you say Obama’s name three times in a row. That should cushion the blow to your noggin when you faint.
You say HRC’s are sacrificing unborn children when at the same time you’re going harder than the worst Beyonce stan for Obama!. Making generalizations about people you don’t know while in the same breath trying to preach about how blacks don’t unite? Good gracious…
Are you SURE you don’t have a problem with Hillary? LOL
^^^Shut the hell up! Anytime you have to throw Beyawnce’s name in the mix we all know you have rocks for brains! Vote or Die! Literally!
Dyson: it is possible to praise black beauty without referring to a woman’s ass. Now I didn’t see the comments, and I am sure he didnt mean it in a disrespectful way, but please have some tact. Michelle gave a wonderful speech, and I feel concentrating on her physical attributes in a way objectifies her.
Hillary: I was a Clinton supporter until Obama entered the race, and I didn’t appreciate some of the comments she made. Watching the tribute did make me sad though, because I really respect her, and I wish she could have been Obama’s running mate, but its obvious there was a lot of bad blood between the two campaigns. I am just not impressed by Biden, but maybe his speech will change my mind. I really hope Clinton can get her maniacal supporters behind Obama.
The Election: I really thought that whichever Democratic candidate won the primary would be a shoe-in for the general election, but now I am not so sure. The vitriol that right-wing plotters spit about Obama is disgusting, but many Americans believe it, and if McCain chooses someone like Condi to be his running mate then I think that would really excite the not-so-excited right-wingers. I used to respect McCain, but I have been disappointed in his tactics, however, I never felt he deserved the presidency. He is a hot-head, and there should never be a hot-head in the white house. I will be heart broken if Obama loses.
…OK Michael Eric Dyson, I give you a pass because I understand you were just ..
…trying to express your appreciation for Black women’s beauty. However, you lose
…two points because you are on the same objectification path as other misogynists
…who act like a Black woman’s beauty is tied to the size and shape of her ass.
…Let’s please get past that. You are way too intelligent to not be able to express
…your appreciation differently or better than that. There are plenty of Black women …who have no ass to speak of but are beautiful as hell.
…As for Adolf and ‘em, this is not the first and won’t be the last attempt by any
… White supremacy unit. I mean what makes Americans think that the KKK,
… Skinheads or whoever are going to settle down now? If anything, they will
… be even more riled up because their country is about to be run by a Black man.
…I just hope Barack doesn’t have a false sense of security – for his sake and his
…family’s sake. No one is to be trusted and he better keep an eye out even for the
…folks around him.

First of all I dont think thats a good comparison….. but your saying if you could only feed one of your children and they asked you which you would rather not feed them at all??? Not understanding the logic there…
I just feel theres a slight contradiction between “Obama needs to show me” and “Stop parading your wife around” it’s like some of you are tired of the “show” you feel as though he is puting on, but then, you want him to put on a show to prove he is ready.
All I am saying is do some research on both. I find it hard to believe, since McCain and Obama are on opposite ends of the spectrum, that you won’t feel as though there is a candidate that supports the MAJORITY of your primary concerns and has policies that you believe in – especially if you are an HRC supporter….
It’s all love. I just really want everyone to vote. Why wouldn’y you want to be a part of history?
Sigh>>>you are obviously very bitter.
Sheesh!

—-It’s interesting that you tell me (or any other “bitter” HRC supporter) to just “get
—-over it”, I wonder, if the tables were turned would you be singin that same tune?
—-I’m already “over it” which is why I’m not voting. I’m not complaining nor whinning
—-because I already know that my actions (or my inactive) will show, come Nov. 4
—But you had better “hope” that the remaining 30% (?) of “bitter” HRC don’t stay
—home or vote McCain..& you also had better “hope” that BHO is able to sway those
—undecided 20%, that may be voting for Nader.
—So in closing, to answer your question, I’m not bitter. I’m actually quite happy w/
—my decision. And this entire process has taught me to NEVER participate in
—another election, and I have a feeling that I’m not alone in that thought.
—BTW, your candiate is 5% down in the polls.
—Just an FYI
—-Politician say anything to get elected. They (superdelegates) do not vote in the
—-in the best interest of their state/city etc., and if the decision is ultimately up to
—-them, then why participate? All officials can be brought/bribed for their vote, which
—-is why, in my opinion, the system would work better if these decisions were based
—-on the people!
Now if you want to whine, take it someone else. Sheesh
