Even though I would love to get some money from the government in the form of reparations for slavery, I know that is not feasible and it would not help anything in the future. It will only be a short term fix. I know my Black people, majority of us would not invest the money wisely and it would just end up back in the hands of government through foreclosures, government liens etc. So I believe Obama’s idea is valid. But I take it further…give every Black person in America tuition free college education. I think that is more realistic and will be more beneficial to our race…

I think the issue with Black america isn’t soo much about the AIDS, HIV, fatherless homes and violence of the streets….I think the real issue is about Blacks finding a spot in this country. You’ve cited this yourself in your post!

I am voting for Barack Obama because like I said he represents hope, he represents another barrier falling as far as Black people plight in America is concerned.
