Ashanti does not have naturally long hair, the longest her natural hair grows is to her shoulders and that is AVERAGE or Mid Length. You are looking at a weave and you see not one iota of her natural hair. People need to stop being fooled by the illusions.

Give her a blunt cut, right to where her jawline is, with bangs … dye her hair dark brown and have a few light brown highlights going through it. Then get her toned up, and have her wear more natural-looking makeup.

If you’re tired of her mouth being open, then simply don’t look at her pictures. If you think she can’t sing. Then, don’t watch her performance videos or listen to her tracks that come out. I understand folks have opinions, and some people aren’t fans. But, if you’re not any of those things, don’t waste your breath, or keystrokes (in this case) to comment. I never understood that with a lot of you blog and website commenters. There’s artist I’m not fond of musically. But I don’t comment on them. Why waste my time, knowing I will never be in like of their music. I don’t dislike them, because I don’t know them. But I know I won’t care too much for their product. So I let them alone, and let them live. I don’t badger or degrade their fans. Nor do I come up with silly immature names to call them. Do people ahve to find something wrong, with everything this woman does? I’m not even a fan like that, but some of y’all can’t be serious. You knew this blog, and probably many others are going to mention Ashanti in some form, she is a recording artist, like it or not. Why even bother reinforcing how much you don’t like her? And cut it out with the complaining about weave. What female entertainer don’t wear weave? What regular chick doesn’t wear weave or have some form of extensions? These female performers wear weave, the majority of the time, so their real hair won’t fall out and break off. Due to the harsh and constant styling and heat. I thought a lot of you would know that.
