Kanye West and Jamie Foxx performed at a party in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday night sponsored by Bono’s ONE anti-poverty campaign and the Recording Industry Association of America.
The event drew celebrities including Forest Whitaker and Ashley Judd, who arrived with Foxx waving an American flag. Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey, former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner and former South Dakota Sen. Tom Daschle also walked the red carpet.
“It’s an incredible time to be around. I wish my momma could have seen this day,” Kanye said as he spoke about Barack Obama being the first African-American Democratic Nominee.
Jamie Foxx then joined West onstage and delivered what was easily the strangest Obama song dedication at this week’s Democratic National Convention.

Diddy, who is no stranger to controversy has been getting some backlash for his recent blog about the high gas prices. The media mogul says he has to pay too much to fill up his private jet, so he is forced to fly commercial. A lot of bloggers and youtube viewers jumped on him for his statements, which prompted him to leave a new updated message:

Beyonce and Tina Knowles did a special interview with The Early Show on Thursday and spoke about how proud they were of Solange. Peep the video.
It’s so pathetic that the channel clearly would only “interview” and feature Solange if Beyonce was involved…So they worked the Mom in as if it were a family affair..It’s really really lame and obvious and if Solange is so fond of going off and being a rebel, she shouldn’t have let herself be exploited this way… If she had merely been a phantom “little sister” on Beyonce’s mind…merely just that clip of her video before Beyonce began her spiel, it would have been cool with the network. Dumb, Dumb, Naive, Solange.
Solange is on a career suicide. The Knowles should never speak on anything. They always come off sounding uneducated and/or rehearsed. Ugh! The sound of Beyonce’s voice is so irritating(um…ah…but…um). Any kind of attraction is gone once she opens her mouth. YUCK!!

I do not understand how B and tina could be proud of solange. I would be embarassed. This is the second time I have watched solange go off on an interviewer. Even if they are asking about b’s personal life, there is a funny and charming way to move away from the subject. For her attitude alone I will not be purchasing her album. She needs an attitude adjustment and it’s not b’s fault that she is more interesting than solange. I guess people would rather talk about b’s bedroom than discuss solange’s album.
