If I, me, myself, saw beyonce, looking the way she does in these pics, walking down the street, i would think she’s cute all but a one second thought….by no stretch of the imagination would she be considered the baddest chick as some refer to her. Not in these pics….now some feel like that when she’s got her big wig on, full face of makeup it takes hours and hours to do, with a completely coordinate outfit, fake booty, etc. I mean alot of work goes into looking like that, and frankly, i think she’s just tired of keeping up with it all.

it depends on what you’re used to seeing on the street though (to both jscene and tabby). i’m from the city and there are lots of pretty young women but i’ve visited some neighborhoods outside of the city and i’ve seen some UGLY chicks. bee is a goddess compared to those girls. so i think “average” is relative to what you are used to being around. to me she’s average b/c many young women in the city tend to take care of themselves really well- they work out, eat healthy, and dress well. to others, however, she may not be.

A large majority of black women rather it’s in the south or in the city, don’t take care of themselves. Rather it mentally,physcially or emotionally. And that all plays a part on your outside appearance. A chick that has been smoking since 11 and drinks beer and smokes blunts everyday can not tell me they look good. Cute, but not good. You know how many females I know don’t moisturize their face or neck. But they are the first to throw on some bright lip gloss. Yeah they go through the motions of getting “dressed up” but still look a mess. You have to take care of yourself from the inside out. You have to pay for quality too. I personally don’t think that Beyonce has been looking “Lighter” over the past few years. To me her color fluctuates a lot. She’s usually lighter in the winter and darker in the summer like most people. And her mother is very fear skinned, so it could just be in her genes to get lighter as she grows up. I don’t undertand why people say that she lightens her skin because of that, I was Beyonce’s color growning up now I’m like her bodygaurds color. I see plenty of people drastically change skin tones, it happens and you don’t have to be using any cream for it.
