In related news, word is West is about to launch a chain of burger restaurants in his native Chicago. Executives his company, KW Foods LLC, have purchased the rights to the North American Fatburger franchise to develop 10 fast food joints in Chicago. The first of the eateries is set to open in Orland Park in September, while a second restaurant will open in January.
He needs to open one here in Houston TX… lol

I 100% agree. But I think that a lot of black people feel as though they can sit there unemployed asses down and keep dreaming about being rich without doing anything about it. They sell drugs, murder and do plenty of other things and expect everything to be OKAY with their lives. They want to be rich yet they don’t go to school, and drop out of college. But now they’re crying to Obama wanting him to just poor money on them yet they don’t try and help themselves while all the rich people actually got off their lazy asses to do something in life but we will be charged more because we make more. I don’t think it is fair. I know plenty of people who claim they’re going to be rich when they get older yet they dropped out of college and my younger friends claim they’re not going to college, so I’m like how will you be rich, if you have no education? I mean, you can be a rapper or something but what if that doesn’t take off like you planned, then what? I know that some people have better opportunities, but a lot of black people just keep finding excuses why they’re poor….you can change that. And then the teenage girls are getting pregnant younger and younger, yet they claim they cant afford anything. Then why did you have a baby? I know it doesn’t apply to all and only black people but it does apply to a lot of them.

What people need to realize is that everyone cannot be Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil’ Wanye, Ludacris etc. Everybody cannot be Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson etc.(you get the point) they need to stop looking for handouts and get they triffling asses off the couch, stop watching BET, living on welfare, poppin’ out kids at 15, having 2 and 3 kids and they not even 25, selling drugs, gettin’ high allllll day, robbing, killing etc. Pick up a book and go to school- I grew up in the hood, Brooklyn to be exact and if I could do it anybody could do it. I cannot see myself graduating from college and going back to the hood and raising kids there. And with these black celebs giving black people a false sense of hope don’t make it no better.

hurting black america? I mean how hard is it to diet, exercise, and eat balanced
nutritional meal, I mean noone put a gun to your head and made you continously

I couldn’t agree more, everything you said was exactly what I came in here to post. And can we please give these black celebrities a pat on the back for actually attempting to enter the business world. Everybody doesn’t have the business acumen of a Donald Trump or a Bob Johnson you have to start somewhere, and opening up your own chain of restaurants is a good place to begin. I don’t see why people are so intent on bashing their own at any chance they get. A guy tries to do something positive and financially responsible like opening up a restaurant and he gets blasted for it, SMH.
