I feel I must address this because, like another poster has stated we as black people tend to find excuses for our actions. How is opening a fast food joint
hurting black america? I mean how hard is it to diet, exercise, and eat balanced
nutritional meal, I mean noone put a gun to your head and made you continously
clog your arteries, and you should have the common enough sense to know when you need worry about your health, just like with drinking and smoking!

As for the comments on how kanye spends his money, thats with all celebrities,
white,black,etc. people spend money frivolously simply because they have it,
just look at some of these celebrities with over 10 different homes, a garage full
of cars they will not drive, some even buy islands, hugh heffner basically has
a whorehouse, and he is white, so lets not bash just our own black people!

One more thing, lets take a look back when the xbox 360, playstation3, the wii,
and the psp came out, and imagine how many people black,white,etc were set
back trying to buy these rascals for their kids, so again lets not bash our own
about making theirs when america in general does it 24/7!

I couldn’t agree more, everything you said was exactly what I came in here to post. And can we please give these black celebrities a pat on the back for actually attempting to enter the business world. Everybody doesn’t have the business acumen of a Donald Trump or a Bob Johnson you have to start somewhere, and opening up your own chain of restaurants is a good place to begin. I don’t see why people are so intent on bashing their own at any chance they get. A guy tries to do something positive and financially responsible like opening up a restaurant and he gets blasted for it, SMH.
