Michelle Williams performed at the ‘Party 105 Mega Jam’ concert held at the Metro New York Balloon and Music Festival in Brookhaven this past weekend. Here she is enjoying festivities at the event.
Michelle’s new album, Unexpected is set to hit stores in October. Since the album’s recent push back, “The Greatest” has replaced “Stop This Car” as the anticipated second single release, and will be serviced to mainstream radio. Meanwhile, “Hello Heartbreak” will be catered to a dance clubs.

Hud certeinly stole the spotlight and was on even more covers after the movie came out than beyonce before it came out, I hope this Etta james movie show she actually can act otherwise Imma be pissed that she got the role off her name and most likely her looks.

Jennifer supposedly is so great because of 1 Oscar yet she got overlooked as an assistant in SITC meanwhile Beyonce got 2 movies coming out and she is nobody assistant in any of them and Beyonce is #4 on Forbes making 80 million in just one year. Yeah where all you jeniffer and letoya stans at now?

To all Michelle Williams Haters: I’m sooo sick and tired of people attacking Michelle and her style, her voice and her entire credibility as an artist. Just because the world so happens to have another talented artist named Beyonce. It is not her fault that Matthew Knowles is Beyonces father and manager! If your child was set as a lead singer in a group before the group even hit adolesence then you would probably have he or she sitting on top of the world way before someone else’s child. Michelle Williams is a force to be reckoned with people. She came out with the first solo album from any Destiny’s child member. Though some may say that it was good marketing how the solo albums came from least famous to most famous girl, she still sold over 500,000 copies and was #1 on the gospel charts. She also has another album that did moderately well and now continues her journey with another smash cd. She has had not 1 but 2 starring roles on broadway and has been on a hit sitcom and owns a part of a proffessional womens basketball team!! It’s time for people to wake up and stop putting artists in boxes just because they don’t do things according to what your average spoon fed overexposed media machine artist would normally do! And to add to that just because her voice is not like Beyonces does not mean she can’t sing. b/c before Beyonce there was Minnie Riperton and Natalie Cole, Patrice Rushun, Diana Ross which all had unique voices and were successful and had their music live in the same era as Aretha Franklin, so allow her art to live too!

I like Michelle and Kelly and wish them both luck in their careers. But truthfully, they don’t have the same star quality as Beyonce. Beyonce is the image that the record companies want. Just go back and look at the DC videos and live performances. Beyonce with her looks and diva style just stood out. Even her outfits were different from the rest of the group. It is all about the benjamins and Beyonce is the only DC member that is bringing in the green.
