Thats whats wrong with black folk we let things go way too easily and then get mad when racism keeps coming around. But poor poor Mariah, Side Effects is a great song….but the remix with Busta sux. Jeezy added alot more to the song than just his vocals and that remix felt like it was missing something so i’m for Side Effects w/ Jeezy all the way. MC2 is a great, solid project but like Mariah says…its the Emancipation Pt.2 [Pt.1 was definitely better by the way..with a few exceptions from MC2] and I guess people were ready for something different. I dont really see Side Effects going anywhere on the charts so i wish she’d release “Love Story” or “Thanx For Nothin’” as potential singles, both great songs that i think would fare well.

Mariah cd is relevant because it is a great cd. She did not change the formula from Emancipation just continued with it. I don’t think she has ventured far from when she first hit the scene.

That Yung Berg song was good only because of Amerie and the beat. I forgot there was actually someone rapping on it.

And Mariah’s CD is not bad at all to me. Bye Bye was a piss poor single choice, but the rest of the album (minus Migrate) is very good. Her voice is still amazing (For the Record and I Wish You Well). Her CD isn’t original or anything, but then again none of her songs were after Vision of Love, but it’s still enjoyable and despite there being obvious changes, her voice is still on point.
