I try so hard to not like Cassie, because I know that she just isn’t a talented girl. But she sucks me in every time with these sexy, synth ballads. Either her songs are extremely catchy, or just really sexy and “My House” is no different. Even though I dug “Official Girl,” they need to push out another single for Cassie – quick, fast and in a hurry. Her second album has been pushed back to the top of ’09, so they’ve got some time to hit the drawing board and restrategize.

Here’s a new track from Omarion. I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed. Omarion was dropped by his label, but newly signed a deal with the Mosley Music Group, which is Timbaland’s label. In all honesty, I jogged some interest for his third solo album, because I thought that Timbaland, Danja and The Neptunes (who Omarion has worked with previously as well) would churn out some heat for his new album. I just assumed that they would putting out some music with an edgier sound for him. This sounds like B2K.

Here’s another remix from Mariah for “I’ll Be Loving U Long Time,” featuring none other than LL Cool J, who is about to release his album, Exit 13. I actually dig this remix from Mariah. I like the change of the production. I wonder if they plan on servicing this to radio, considering I’ve already started to hear the remix to “Side Effects” with Busta Rhymes.

Is Chris Brown working on a new album already? I guess the success that he garnered with the new single, “Forever,” produced by Polow Da Don, for his release of Exclusive made him realize that he needed to go back into the studio with Polow Da Don. I actually dig this snippet a lot, but I’m wondering if this type of music will still be relevant by the time he’s ready to drop his third album. Chris just barely made it through the sophomore slump, so I wish him the best.

I was never a huge Omarion, B2K, Marques Houston, IMX fan. Every since the spectacle last year with those child molestation scandal and Chris Stokes I am not digging anything that Chris Stokes has a hand in that much more. Regardless if the allegations are true or not those boys had little to know talent outside of dancing anyway.
Lastly, I will pass on all of the whack ass music in this review. Hurry up and release that album Janelle Monae, Monica, Erykah (2nd part of New Amerykah) and Beyonce.

I heard this song yesterday and I started laughing out loud because I knew exactly what the producer did. It was produced by 7 Aurelius, so that’s why the beat is so HOT! I can’t understand a damn thing she’s saying and her vocals are very whispery and hidden because they’re trying to just focus on the beat. The lyrics are sexual because this is a sultry beat and that’s her wackass image. Even though I don’t like Ciara anymore, I was thinking that she would’ve sounded great on this track. It sounds like something she’d be trying this time around. Ciara is a limited vocalist but she has a nice tone of voice. It’s funny how Cassie said her vocal coach brought vocals out of her she didn’t knew she had when she sounds the exact same on this new track. To the people who said don’t hate on Cassie, hate on her??? I’m sure there’s people on here who can’t sing but can sing better than her! The only reason why people like her is because she’s pretty and skinny. It she was fat, fully black, and ugly, she would’ve gotten more criticism. I love her soft voice ( I don’t always want to hear powerhouse singers), but if she starts trying to actully sing, it gets bad.
